huh? bra or not to bra is that the question?

haha I hate paying a lot of money for bras. But I do buy victorias secret because they are sooo comfy but I only  buy them when they are on sale. If they break or the wire comes out, you can return it no longer how long you'v ehad it so its totally worth it to me. Everytime they go on sale I stock up!

Yeah bras are great especially when they fit right.  So many people aren't wearing a proper bra and it makes their boobs hang down to their bellies.  Yikes!

I still dont git it? bra or no bra was that the question....hang low or hang high huh?

I would rather pay the expensive cost and have one that fits and that will last a long time.

Yeah, the sports ones aren't as comfortable anymore.

I never knew that VS did such exchanges! There are so many pretty bras out there, but they are all underwired. As I'm too lazy to handwash them, I stick them in the washing machine & after multiple washes, the wire starts to pop out through the fabric & stab me in the chest while i'm wearing the bra. So I end up extracting the wire with a pair of pliers to save my life.....& then the entire thing loses its shape! grrrrrrr........

uhhh...sports bras are not always cheap. When you don't have a "regular" size, like me, bras are very expensive.

Wires would be uncomfortable and pokey.

yea vs doesn't advertise that tehy will make that exchange but they will. just keep the receipt, but even if you don't have the receipt they will exchange it. they dont' ask any questions and will just replace it or give you a refund (which they will try to give you in a vs merchandise certificate but will give you in a check if you pressure them) if the bra is discontinued. I had to make them give me a plain refund b/c it was discontinued adn my size isn't carried in the stores (just a 38B) so a merchandise gift certificate was no good to me.

is there somewhere you can go to find your true bra size.  I find the back of mine always rides up, or the straps are too loose, or something.  Still yet to find the holy grail, the perfect bra

It probably is worth it to go to a lingerie shop and get measured.  I keep promising myself I am going to do that one of these days.  (after they shrink of course)

A well-filling bra is an investment: it can make you look thinner (no back fat, no!) in addition to perkin' up your girls.

I still love bra-lettes though. Comfy, and no poking wire.

My overall favorite is Victoria's Secret VS Cotton Wireless Push-Up (2 for $40, victoriassercert.com). It adds size and great lift without creating the weird, double-boob thing that some bras do.

My problem now is that since I've started losign weight it's of course showing in the bust area and of course tehy aren't getting smaller at the same pace! So now I have a B bra but only 1 B boob! haha grrr This is my most frustrating issue w/ bras and I have yet to find a good solution.

ktcort: I had this problem when I was first developing. I would buy bras the size of my larger breast and then buy those lemon-shaped pads to go in the cup of the other smaller breast. I would actually sew them in for fear that they might fall out. Uneven size is a common problem, from what I hear. And there is a high chance they will even out as you continue to lose.

im a c cup, but when i wear sports bras i look "flatter." which is fine by me, but whatev.  but i don't notice that im higher up or anything with a normal bra, is either one of these bad?

*sigh* Sometimes I really hate bras but I'm 38DD so it's that or get REALLY dangly which I DON'T want to do.  And yes, underwire is all but necessary when you've got a big chest. 

The biggest problem with my boobs is that my right side is almost half a cup bigger than my left.  Grrr.

Here is a Bra hint ladies:

If your girls are big like mine and you NEED an underwire- here is good idea that has worked for me a number of times.

1. When the wire "pokes" out- either the chest or the armpit

2.  push the wire back down into the hole it poked out of so you can't see it

3. Take a drop of super glue and put in the hole where the wire poked out

4. Squeeze the hole shut (becareful not to glue you finger to the bra =))

5. After it dries you will get some more milage out of it!

I LOVE the VS Very Sexy Secret Embrace and I don't care how much it costs.  It's 100% worth it.

Question, though.  Have you guys noticed that VS warped their sizes to make us feel better about what we're buying?  I swear it's true.  Their cup sizes run small (I'm a D there and trust me, I am NOT a D!....C on a PMS day) and their panties run big (I'm a M and everywhere else I'm a large).  It totally works, too!  Everytime I go in and buy my 34D and my M panties, I feel like I have a VS model body....even though I know it's a scam!  Genius marketing!!!!

I should just go get measured at a lingerie store.  I'm pissed because I just invested in a couple new bras like $50 each, sexy red one that makes the girls look so perky =) and now it's getting to be too big.  Not enough support, and I'm wear a DD bra, so can't afford to go without the support.

Anyway, as much as we bitch about finding the right bra, there's nothing like putting on a great fitting sexy bra and feeling so damn gorgeous!  =)
