Hi, my name is Beth and I am new to this forum.  I decided to try this site because while I don't necessarily mind that I am overweight, I have noticed that my weight is climbing every month...little by little. I don't really want to get even bigger.  I hope that I can stay motivated and active here.  Wish me luck.

Hi Beth! Good luck! This site is really addicting,,,,hahaha I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before my boss blocks me from it. There is so much useful information on here.
Hi Beth! I am new as well and also new to dieting. I have always controlled my weight with exercise but wanted to try something new so here I am. I surprised myself though because I've heard so many people complain about counting calories. I'm glad I didn't take their word for it, this site has really helped me. Before everytime I would overindulge in something I would feel really guilty, but I now by tracking my calories I know that I have room for the treats while still losing weight. Good luck, I hope you stick with it. You've already noticed the weight gain and you're on here trying to do something about it. That's already two steps forward! Trista
