i am new to Caloriecount i have been here for maybe 3 or 4 days and i lost 2 pounds so far ;D i used to be really active then i switched schools and went from intense marching band pratices and eating a ton of food to,.....no marching band and eating a ton of food. i am pretty bad with motivating myself to get up and do stuff i was on bipolar medication and anti-depressants which made me go from 180 pounds to 220. and a few days ago i looked in the mirror and said 'ohgod' and decided to get back in shape and get active, make healthy food choices, and be a normal looking teenager, i am only 19.

You can do it. We should stay in touch, as I've just joined as well. We can create a "buddy system" and check in on each other. I am 38, and am the typical story of "getting pregnant/getting fat" which is why you MUST do this for yourself now. Believe anyone who says, "it just gets harder as you get older." IT DOES. Enjoy your youth without having to feel crappy and shop at Lane Bryant. ha ha

Take care,

Tracey
