hey now, what about the 170's club?!?
Yep, thats right. I feel left out. Anyone in the 160's or 170's?
Yeaaaaaah we can have a freakin club too!!!
WHOS WITH ME!?!?!?!?

WHOS WITH ME!?!?!?!?
I just made it to the 170's so I want to be in the 170s club and NEVER go back to the 180s!!!
I've been stuck in the 170s since I started dieting. I think one
reason I've been there for so long was being in starvation mode for the
first week or so, but I've been really trying to keep my calories at a
good level and be healthy. I just hate seeing the scale jump
between 176 - 178, and never go down. Blast!
I hear ya kimmer708! I've been stuck at about 178 for almost 2
months now. It's really frustrating. It's like my body
doesn't want me to get under that number.....ever!
I am at 177, I was in the 170 club before but have no idea what happened. My weight keeps going up and down like a yo yo. (change of life thingy) we also travel alot on motorcycle in the summer and I will admit my food choices are not that great. I really do try but something always goes wrong. We are leaving for another trip on Friday until Sunday and I am going to really try harder to keep on track. Two weeks ago we went away I was 176 came home 182 I was deeply depressed. Now just as the scales start to drop again we go away. I know part of the problem in salt (which the restaurants)put in the food. I never use salt at home unless absolutely necessary, not even in cooking. This site has been great but lately everyone seems to be off track and not really giving much support (at least in my eyes). I am not giving up I still want to loose 20 to 30 pounds, my first goal is 160. I really want to be there by Christmas and need all the help I can get. Thanks for listening to me rant.
Hey changling, it is really hard when you are traveling by
motorcycle. My husband and I do that too. You can't take
much with you and always end up eating out. I just remind myself
of how far I've come already, and try to eat less sinful foods at
restaurants. It's really hard, but it will pay off! Have
fun on your trip!
ama, I just told my husband he has to be my food coach this weekend and not let me eat anything fried or fattening. I know he will do it, so we will see what happens. I did manage to convince him to trailer the bike to New Hampshire since it is suppose to rain and Sat it is suppose to be nice so we can have a nice ride with the group. Sun more rain to come home in. Two weeks ago we went from Canada to Conn. and it was pretty scarry in the rain and when we got there we were soaked.
yo, Im at 165 pounds when I wake up and 170 when I go to bed then back at 165 in the morning and 170...haha..I been at 165 since I was a sophomore in highschool and now Im 21, 5 foot 11 and 170 pounds...I feel great, I look great and wish I could get to at least 175 pounds of muscle...so thats where Im headed, maybe 180 if Im lucky, but that wont be anytime soon.
Just back from our trip and I am not weighing myself until Monday. I know I gained fluid I can feel it in my fingers. I also came home sick so that has not helped. As of this morning I have started fresh, I have planned out the meals for the day and I actually did one whole Belly Dance tape. I really want 20 pounds off by Christmas but I will be happy with 10 or even 5. Anything will do but I get really discouraged when nothing happens. My Nutrition Report for today is Fat 19.3%, Protein 22.1%, Carbohydrates 56.7%, Other 1.9%.....Daily Sodium 1,105, Cholesterol 334, Fiber 12. Does this sound right to you guys? It gives me a grade of A-.
This weekend in Canada is also Thanksgiving so I am going to really, really try to stay on top of things.
Wish me luck.

Did ya have a good time changeling? I'm gonna add you to my
friends list K? Happy Thanksgiving! I hope I don't gain
too much over the weekend. So much food!
Actually, the partying was lots of fun Ama, but the ride turned out not to be. The guy who led the group was a a### he drove way too fast and dangerously, he wouldn't stop for anyone to take pictures and the scenery was breathtaking. Half way into the ride everyone else bailed out and we should have also. It really and I do mean really made me sick. For the first time my husband got a piece of my mind and he was speachless. After out accident I am having a hard time dealing with the speed issue. I value my life and I thought I meant more to him than to have him risk it at the speed they were travelling. I was so mad I couldn't leave the motel room until I cooled down and two drinks later. But it turned out everyone else was made also. We are going out for a Friday ride by ourselves to see the colours up in Haliburton, Ontario they are suppose to be really nice this time of year. Where are you from?
Sorry made a few typing errors there but you get my message
I'm still in the club guys, sitting at 178 for the past 2 months!! I'm dying to get to the 160's club!!!
Changling, sorry your trip wasn't the best.
I'm from Humboldt Saskatchewan. It's about an hour from Saskatoon.
I think my hubby and I are going to go for a little trip on Saturday - if it's nice, we've had rain for about 3 weeks now. Plus, it's so hard to get away when you have little kids. We have a 3 year old and a 8.5 month old. I can't wait to get back out there though! I have to get my husband to put a backrest or sissy bar on the bike for me, we can't go for more than an hour without my back and legs killin me!
lilborykuamami ~ I hear you! I've been stuck at the exact same # for just over 2 months! Isn't it frustrating! Better than going up though!

Our bike is a ST1300 and it has a top box with a back rest built into it. My husband also ordered Alaskan sheepskin for the seats and then but foam pad under it. It made a big difference for the butt. I can now ride longer than an hour without being in pain. We have had a lot of rain here also, so it will be nice to get out in the sun. Hope we all have great rides this weekend.
Ok why do we start these clubs if no one writes in them. There has not been a post since Oct 5/06
I know! I've noticed that too, I try to let other people get
their posts in. I feel like I'm the only one writing sometimes!!!
Anyway, I think I might have gotten over my plateau. I woke up to 177 this morning, but that's only 1 pound, we'll see in a week or so.
How are you doing changeling? (since we are the only ones on here! Lol!)
We never got to go for our ride on the weekend, it poured rain. Now it's almost too cold to go riding. It's only supposed to be about a high of 2 degrees here for the next couple days, and it snowed this morning. Kinda makes me sad, I'm not a winter person, and it upsets me that I won't see summer for like 8 months!

Well my weight finally started to go down again. I decided to drink 10 glasses of water a day one every hour until 6 o'clock at night. As of today I am down to 176.5 and that makes me feel good.
We did get out for our ride, it was a bit cold in the morning and coming on night but the rest of the day was great. We took a picnic lunch with us and it was really nice.
I know how you feel about the cold, I'm with you I don't like it and tend to hibernate.
How is your daughter doing?

That's so funny about your weight, I weighed in at exactly the same
thing this morning! Plus I was crediting it to drinking a lot of
water yesterday!
Well, my daughter is doing the same. She just drinks out of a sippy cup. But I guess the main thing is that she's getting the nourishment. I think I'm the only one thats suffering. It's really hard emotionally. I just have to play the waiting game!

I'm almost sure my plateau is broken now. I weighed in at 176 this morning after being stuck at 178 for 2.5 months!
I'm still bouncing all around the 170's, with 173 being the lowest. This morning I weighed in at 177. Go figure. It's been this way for almost 2 months. Those 160's cannot come soon enough! I'm going to try to up my protien a bit and see if that beaks this plateau of sorts.
Happy day everyone!
