I never thought that Calorie Count would actually work but I did for me, well so far.
I'm hoping to lose 3.5kg by November and I find this last bit the hardest. To cut a long story short, I can't exercise as much as I want because of various health issues and getting chiro treatment which stops me from running (my main exercise), and the weight is not going anywhere!
Help! Its totally depressing. How do you exercise when your body can't? I'm still going for walks, doing Tai chi and pilates but it doesn't do anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi again, I have a stationary bike at home but i'm just not into it! I do 20 minutes and i'm bored. Its hard to be a runner and having to change routine. I guess the calorie intake has to go down. I'm eating around 1500cal a day, bit more on weekends. I don't like to starve and I like food. I don't want to undo what I've done so far. thanks for your reply. cheers
I also had to give up jogging - chronic ankle instability (i.e. a permanent tendency to resprain the same ankle). I now vary between a cycling machine (with all the meters like a revometer and a heart beat monitor and a random variance etc. to keep me interested), an elliptical trainer (with all the similar gadgets) and swimming.
Try listening to music or watching TV when exercising as you'll get less bored. Difficult when swimming though.
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
