Hello Everyone. I don't know if I have done this already or not but I will do it again. I am using this website to keep track and keep me accountable. I am 25 and currently weigh 205. I am trying to lose weight to be healthy and feel better about myself. I am married and my husband is in the military. I currently am unemployed so I can workout during the day I just don't like to go alone. I don't have any children. I have always been overweight and now I am really concerned. I don't want to put myself at risk for diabetes or any of those other health problems associated with being over weight.I just recently went to the doctor to get everything checked and he said I was okay. But that I needed to start working out and trying to lose weight. He said I should work out about 6x per week for at least an hour and do cardio and weights.
I am the type of person that needs that needs that extra push and the motivation and encouragement from others.....So right now my goal is to get back in the gym and maybe find a workout partner. My husband will work out with me when he gets off of work but that is not always consistent depending on how his work schedule goes. So needless to say I am stuck right now. Any ideas on how I can get motivated to go alone or any ideas where I can get a workout buddy that can work out with me on base?
