I am forty-four and am working on losing 10 lbs over the next few months.

I am look forward to chatting with others who are on this track.

I realize that it doesn't seem to be alot, but it is challenging to change my eating habits and my workout regimine to allow me to reach this target.

Any one interested in regular chatting ?

I am interested. I will be 41 in April and my goal is to drop 15 pounds by then. I was hoping to be in the "best shape of my life" when I turned 40 but last year turned out to be full of stressfull situations. Kind of glad it over!  Looking back I realize I let other things become priority and nothing is more important than your health. I've always been healthy and energetic and never overweight until now. I'm not actually overweight according to all the charts but when I can't fit into my clothes and I feel miserable then i need to change. I'm not even fun to be around because I'm grumpy. So this week I started logging all my food - wow - it's amazing how fast those calories add up, especially on snacks. I also started using the eliptical machine 15 minutes/day. It only 150 calories burned but it's a start. I hope we can share some good tips on healthy eating and fun exercises. I need all the support I can get! Laughing

Hi,......yeah every lan't seem to focus on the workout. ittle bit counts. I try to be sure to work out every day- but when there is something very stressful going on, I can't seem to focus on the workout. It's amazing how I let that kind of stuff interrupt my life in both ways!  Today, I'm not working out- but I have every day the last 5; so I'll be sure to refocus tomorrow.

I haven't mastered logging here yet, but I am sure I will.
