I happened upon this website and thought I'd give this a try. I've done Weight Watchers with some success, but calorie counting always seemed to restrictive. I wanted to do WW online, but frankly, this site is free and WW is not, so here I am.
I've been trying to lose down to my goal weight of 135 for about 4 years. Almost 4 years ago I lost 30 pounds by doing WW on my own. I hit a plateau and stopped dieting, but have managed to keep the weight off this whole time. I decided back during the summer to get started again and dropped 10 pounds pretty easily before getting distracted from my goal again.
My goal is to lose 30 pounds by the first of March. Me and my husband have been motorcycling for the past couple of years and I'd like to be trim before bike week Daytona 2010. I've realized that with the form fitting clothes you have to wear, all of your bulges show at 70 mph when your flying down the interstate. And, I do not want to be my husband's "fat old lady".
I'm also vegetarian and I try to eat vegan, but sometimes after the fact, I realize some processed food that I didn't read the label carefully has dairy in it. So, I'm also trying to cook more meals, and rely less on Boca Burgers.
So, please friend me if you're a biker or a vegetarian, I'd love to hear about your experiences.
