Hi

I've looked at some of the posts on here and realise that I don't have very much weight to lose compared to some of you, but all the same I find it very hard to stick to a weight loss programme.  I have 18 pounds to lose and hope to do it by the beginning of April so any encouragement I can get from people would be much appreciated.

Hi I just joined this week too and I'm addicted to this site.  I'm about where you are  as far as the weight I want to lose...my goal is 14lbs by Memorial Day weekend, just in time for summer!  Anyway, I have always struggled with my weight and have tried just about every diet fad out there. I had been doing weight watchers for the last 3 months and have been at a plateau for 2 so I decided to try something different and already I've lost 1.5 lbs just by counting calories and working out (between 5-6 times a week) It's very difficult to stick to something when your not getting results and I know that the last 10 lbs or so are the hardest.  I dont know what your workout schedule is like, but I find getting up in the morning and working out between 30 -45 minutes works the best for me.  I also run a couple times a week at an indoor track after work.  Welcome aboard and if you are looking for any support and encouragement I would be happy to help!
