Hi, glad to be here

I am not sure what this forum will be about-I haven't  checked it out yet-it's just I use the trainer as part of my workout routine.

I do  have some questions, though, and hoping some of you maybe knowledgeable enough to help.  First off, the numbers on the trainer I use at the gym are different than the numbers I see here on CC.   Now I know much of that has to do with the information input restrictions on the machine.  The only questions asked are about my weight.  There's nothing about age, (54), as of the 10th, height or sex.  How accurate can it be.
OK, so enough about my complaints.  I love the way I feel while I am on the machine.  I do find the first few minutes-anywhere from 5-15 at times hard and boring to get through.  It's only after that I get that burst of energy and the endorphines kick in and I'm on my way.

Who uses the machine as your main or only exercise.  I do that in conjunction with running on treadmill or track and much weight training.

Some say it's better to do cardio b4 weights and some go the other way.  I believe both probably have merit. I'm just wondering if anyone here knows the difference in putting one in front of the other?

Hope you all are well and here's to another day of health, happiness and elliptical training!
