Hi!  My name is Julie and today is my first day.  Although I have been exercising every day for the past week.  Just weighed myself this morning.  (I was too scarred to do it before) Ok, I am 5'7" , 40 years old and at 260 pounds.  I want to lose at least 100 pounds and need your support to cheer me on.

Anyone here from Chatham, On. Canada? I am looking for a friend or 2 to walk with.

Welcome to Calorie Count, we're happy to have you.  The tools on this site can help you make this a new/healthy lifestyle rather than just a diet.  Trust me when I say, you are not the only person with your stats -- many folks share both your stats and your goals.

I noticed you have not yet done a profile -- I encourage you to do so.  Profiles help other members with similar goals and interestes to find each other.  YOu can make your profile as detailed or as vague as you wish.  I suggest you look at other members' profiles to get an idea (just click on their name or their picture).

To update/build your own profile, simply go to COMMUNITY --> click on PEOPLE --> click on "edit page" underneath your picture.  You can then add/subtract things to your profile page.
