Hi, I'm new

Quote  |  Reply

Hi there,

I am new and have had a heck of a time NOT sabotaging myself. It seems I do well for a few days then wham,  uncontrolled focus on nothing but food and unhealthy food. I just don't get it. I do know how to live and be healthy but something has happened where it has gone awry. Today, I took off to try and restore my mind, just relax and get my head together. I do hope I can become a successful, healthy participant.

Good luck, I had a good week but a very stressful day on Friday because of one dog gone person which I wish I hadn't let her get to me but it was something else. Anyway, we need to learn to cope with stress without turning to food. I had a friend over and had a blast that evening with a few glasses of wine but then because of the sugar spike the next day I was hungry and lost control. Maintaining the insulin level for me is a must I do know that. Plus, exercise, so hopefully this week will be better. Again, good luck!
