Hi, I'm new and could uses some suggestions.
Hello, My name is Erin. I'm new here and was hoping for some suggestions. I work from 6am-2:30pm. I eat breakfast very early and am looking for any ideas. I am looking for well rounded breakfast ideas that are easy to make, that will hold me until 9am(my first break). I usually have a bowl of cereal,and maybe a piece of toast. That gets old really fast! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i would say the night before you go to work, hard boil a few eggs.. at breakfast have a slice of whole grain toast (or something similar.. fiber is filling) and eat that with the egg whites (egg yolks have tons of fat and calories.. 1 egg white=17 calories.. not too shabby i'd say) you could also add some yogurt too.. i think egg whites stick with me better than any other breakfast food. My other favorite isn't really a breakfast thing per se.. but i love it.. 1 slice of rye bread toasted (or other whole grain bread) with 1 T. cream cheese or 1 slice 2% american cheese and 2 oz. turkey breast.. that is filling too .. both of those would kick start your day with good protien which some people have a hard time keeping up.. so if you start with a bunch of protien then your day is off to a good start! :)
I love an eggwhite omelette. low cals, gives me lots of energy too!
Hi Erin, Welcome to the group :). When you eat breakfast you want to make sure it is around 300 calories.. So what i do when i have to be at work early is this. I have 3 egg 2 toast 1 whole apple, and i have some green tea. That is what i do. I make sure i get egg beaters.. They are good. And Sometimes i add some cut you tomatoes in that. I am not a breakfast eater. When i need breakfast in the morning i go with that. That holds me till 11. 280 calories
When i don't have to be at work. I have 1 toast with a tea spoon of peanut and a yogurt. 255 calories
My after the morning work out breakfast is a slim fast and yogurt. 260 calories
All of theses can hold me till 11 or even noon.
