HI! My name is Charity I am 21 will be 22 in March. I live in Kentucky. I had a baby in May 2006. I was a little over weight when I got pregnant then I ballooned up with my son. I had to have an emergency c-section with him and I think that is part of why I can't get rid of this intertube around my lower belly. I don't have time in my busy schelude to make really healthy meals. And my home life is really hetic becaus eof a toddler and his Dad works 12 hour shifts. So if anyone has advice or is like me message me when you get a chance.........

Hi nice to meet you.  I am kind of in your same boat.  I was not overweight when I got pg with my first daughter but I gained 80 lbs with her.  Then I had an emergency C section.  I only lost 40 lbs after I had her and then got pg AGAIN only 7 months later with my 2nd daughter.  I was 225 when I delivered her and then I only lost 25 lbs.  So I started out around 135 and within 2 years I was up to 190's.  It is now 7 years later and I have been fighting it ever since.  I have gone on diet after diet and the most I have been able to lose was 30 lbs and got down to around 168 but then of course gained it all back.  At my highest I have been 195 and I am currently at 186 after my last diet I was done in the low 170's.  I know how you feel and I am so frustrated.  I am hoping that this site and meeting other people will help.

I can tell you that by counting your calories and by sticking to the amount of calories that the site suggest really does help.  And you don't have to give up everything.  Just cut your portions down and stick to the number that the site tells you and of course exercise if you can, maybe when the baby is taking a nap.  Or put the baby in a stroller and take walks.  That is what I did when my kids were small.  Whatever you can do to get your heart rate up.  It really helps.

Good luck and I hope to talk to you again.
