I am 40 years old, 5"5 and 148 . My goal is 137 and i should be 137 by July. Would like to find somebody to do this together, to support and to help to reach goals.

So we're all kind of platued. I once again, didn't lose, even after lowering carbs. I'm scared to eat more, but if it's healthy, I guess I could try it. What I do know is: I'm not giving up. My skinny jeans are in my closet and they miss me!
Leila, are you thinking about upping your calories? This "happy weight" thing makes a lot of sense. OK, I have to give the computer back to hubby. Don't give up on me guys, as soon as he gets back his computer, I'll be on every day.![]()

Yippy Alisons back. Tell your jeans they won't be missing you for much longer. I know what you mean about being afraid to eat more, but it does work for many people. Not over the recommended about, but all that you are allowed. Being to far under the recommend amount works good the first week you do it, but then it backfires. Don't worry we wont give up on you, we were worried you gave up on us. Talk to you when hubby gets his computer back.
Leila I want to lose just a little more, because I know what I look like under the pants lol I don't look that skinny every day, it's really strange I have fat days I can't explain it. Some days I look like I have a huge gut, but ten pounds ago I looked like that every day. I will have to find a picture from May and you won't believe the difference.
I am so glad to see you back,Alison !!! Yes, i started to eat more, actually just like CC says, 1300 calories from Friday.It is strange, but eating 1200=1230 was enough for me to loose 5 pounds, but it doesn't work anymore. We will see what it will show next Friday. I know what you mean by "fat"days, the same is happening with me.
Today i am cleaning and i probably will put it on CC.

I don't know what happened to me today,very bad day. I went to the gym this morning but felt light headed after 25 minutes of circuit training, so I came back home. It is now 7pm and I have already eaten 225 calories over my limit. I don't know why but I felt hungry all day long, I couldn't stop eating. Now for the rest of the night I can only have water. I could make up for the 225 cal if I went to the gym tonight, but I'm still not feeling right. I'm so aggravated at myself right now, but nothing I can do about it now. Maybe tomorrow I can make up the difference by going to the gym and working out twice as long as usual, but I don't see that happening. I hope you girls are having a much better day than I am.

Yesterday was not very good day for me too. I didn't eat over my calorie limit but i felt hungry too and was eating mostly fruits. I was so sour from my Saturday workout that i couldn't think going to the gym on Sunday. Yesterday i had a horrible headache and couldn't go to the gym, although really wanted to. So i am planning to go today after work. It was just one bad day Lori, today is another day and hopefully it will be good for you.

Hi girls,
I had a great workout last night, i spent an hour on treadmill. I really was not going to be there for an hour but i just decided later to go for it. It's getting hot again here and i really can't wait when summer will be over. I am doing good staying on my calorie range, although sometimes i am a little under. I am curious if there will be any changes on scale this Friday.
Alison probably has the problem with the computer again. Hope she will be back soon.
Leila it has been very hot here as well. I had that bad day but got back on track. Remember the week I went away and ate way over my limit for 2 days? Well I lost weight that week. I had that bad day this week and my weight is going down. I think I might follow my cousins advice from weight watchers and have a day off a week. It has worked wonders for her and she always looks forward to Sunday. I will wait and see what my weight is on Friday and then decide. Glad to hear you stayed the hour even though it was so hot. I bet you felt good when you were finished. No gym for me today, spent the day at beach and did lots of walking. Tomorrow I have the boys, so I will have to find a way to burn calories around the house lol You are probably right about Alison. Have a great night, and stay cool.
Well, i don't know what scale will show on Friday, but i fit into my old clothes that i couldn't fit in before. It feels really good. I am glad that your weight is going down, that's great. I am going to the gym today after work,it always feels good after the workout,especially when it is really hot or you don't feel like exercising. I have heard about this one day eat whatever you want. I even can't think what i really would like to eat that i can't eat now. But if it works for somebody, that's good. I am sure that you will burn a lot of calories being with the boys.

Well, i did cleanse once and it didn't really work for me. But i am glad that this cleanse worked for you. I don't think that when you count calories you don't get nutrition that you need. As for me, i eat pretty much everything and still loose weight.

I did weight in this morning and i am 142.80, didn't loose anything this week again. But i am loosing inches, as my husband says it is more important. But this number on the scales worries me anyway.I hope your number is better then mine. Have a good week-end

Only a little lose, but better than none or a gain. Went from 107.2 last week, now I am 106.8.
Leila congratulations on inches lost. I haven't measured myself in so long, I have to get around to that soon. Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration to me.
Didn't really exercise much at all this whole week, I forget what the gym looks like. Busy almost every morning next week as well, so doesn't look like I'll be seeing the gym much then either. I will have to be extra careful with the food.

That's great, Lori! Congratulations! I hope that's the beginning and it will start moving again. I really feel good about myself even if i didn't loose a pound last week.I keep going to the gym when i can, this week unfortunately was only two times. I was tired yesterday and today because of the heat and besides that we have closing at work. So all together was too much for me. Tomorrow i have a beauty day, have hair cut in the morning and facials in the afternoon ![]()

Hi everybody,
I had a wonderful week-end, went to the gym on Sunday and spend an hour on Nordic trail. Then went grocery shopping and clothes shopping too. I tried couple old pants and they fit, i felt so good. I was not able to wear them for couple years. So i burned a lot of calories shopping yesterday and had two pieces and of thin crust pizza for dinner. It tasted so good...... wow!!! One piece is just 90 calories. I love Domino's sometimes,i think that it's the best pizza.
How was everybody's week-end?
Hi, sorry I haven't been on in a while. Saturday on the spare of the moment we decided to go to RI to the casino for the day and didn't get home until 3am. Then on Sunday I went to cape cod for the whole day with my Aunt and cousin ( ate about 1000 calories over my allowed amount ouch!). Monday went to the beach with all of my children and both grandsons, so nice to all be together for the day.
Leila so nice! You exercised, got new clothes and fit into old clothes. Thats what I call a good weekend for a cc'er. Yum pizza, the domino's we have around here is gross. I didn't know that any pizza was only 90 cal a slice, that surprises me.
I have been doing terrible. Sunday was a horrible day eating wise. Went out to eat twice down the cape. I really didn't know what to log for the day, I ate so so much ( things that I shouldn't have). Still forget what the gym looks like, and I'm not happy about that. I'm going in a little while, I hope I stay there for a long time.
Alison still hasn't been back?

Hi Lori,
I am so glad to see your post. Well, sounds like you had fun, that's great. I had pretty good week-end too. Hopefully i will go to the gym today, the storm is coming so i really don't know what the weather will be like. I was in calorie range on week-end. Pizza, especially think crust is very low in calories, so you can eat a piece or two. Our Domino's is very good, the best around.
Unfortunately Alison is not back yet, hopefully she will show up soon.

I'll have to see if I can find any places around here for pizza, that has nutritional value. I think I have reached the weight that I will probably stay at. I'm between 106 and 108, wanted 105 but I cant seem to push myself any more. I know I can do it, if I really try hard, but will 1 or 2 pounds really make much difference? I think because 105 was what I had for a goal, I would feel better if I reached it. Hope the weather holds up, so you can make it to the gym Leila. I hope Alison will be back soon, as well. You are right tomorrow is another day, let see what that brings. Have a great night.

On CC you can find nutritional information about pizza chains. So just go to FOOD and browse pizza restaurants,maybe you will find the kind of pizza you have around. If you feel that you like the way you look and feel, it is important. I have 5 pounds to go. I don't know what scale will show me this Friday, we 'll see. I made it to the gym yesterday and spent good 45 minutes on bicycle. So i was glad that i went.

Leila I will look into the pizza thing for sure. It's Thursday so I have the boys, maybe I can get to the gym tonight. How is the weather there today? It is only about 60 degrees right now and raining (8:45am). Saturday we have a family reunion for my other half's side, I hope it stops raining by then. I have been eating good and hope tomorrow weigh in reflects it. When you do the bike at the gym, do you put in your age and weight? I was told that is the only way for it to record calories burnt accurately. I usually just jump on and get started, so maybe I was putting down more calories burnt than I should have. It is 73 degrees in the morning and it will be 86 later. Not so bad. It is a little cooler now, maybe because it is august and i hope fall is near here. I can't wait when i can wear sweaters and long pants.
I don't put my weight and age when i ride bicycle. I never thought about doing this. I am going to the gym today after work, probably will jump on Nordic trail. I have a problem with putting in my own recipes. Every time i put something in,it says that there are some ingredients that can't be found. But it gives nutritional information. Did you try to put your recipes in? Then i went to forum to check if somebody else has this problem. Many people has actually. So i tried to do what they said, to put the id for the ingredients that it can't find. It worked for some recipes.

I DID IT! I couldn't believe it, I had to hop on the scale three times to make sure it was right. Todays weight is 104.4 only day that low, lets see if it stays there. I HAVE REACHED MY GOAL! I know how much weight can fluctuate, so I will be sure to continue to watch my calorie intake. My new goal is 100 lbs. I was always 93 lbs when I got married at 18 years old, up until after my chemo treatments a few years ago. I know 100 isn't to skinny for me, but at my age that is as low as I want to go. I know muscle weighs more than fat and I haven't been going to the gym, so I will gain a few pounds once I get rolling again. So if I continue to eat right and get back to going, I think I should be able to stay at the 105 mark.
Leila I'm sure you will see results this week, you have been exercising faithfully and eating right. I guess I found out what my thing is. One day of eating way over my limit, kicks my body into high gear. Sunday I ate more than a thousand calories over my limit, but yet I had a great loss this week. I thought that was the trick for me, but now I know. Every week that I was mad at myself for having a real bad eating day, I lost more than on good weeks. Leila it looks like it is just you and me left. Thats o.k. as long as we have each others support, we can do this right?
Alison where are you? Maybe your husband is still using your computer. I hope you will be back. Don't give up on CC, it really does work. I know the last few pounds are the hardest, but if I did it you and Leila can do it as well.
