Hi everyone my names ana, I am 124 lbs, and my goal weight is 110 lbs. Ive recently gained about 16 lbs in a span of 2 months. Im usually very good with maintaining my weight, but a summer of social drinking, and eating has really made pack on the pounds rapidly. Im really frustrated, because im not sure where the weight has come from, no one believes ive gained 15 lbs, and my clothes are still fitting the same. However the weight machine does not lie! I feel bloated, and my bowel movements are not regular.
I really want to lose at least 10 lbs by my birthday, which is november 5th..id love some support, and advice!
P.S ..is consuming alcohol hurting my chances of weight loss?
hey ^^
are you sure you wanna lose weight if you don't look bigger and your clothes still fit the same? maybe you just build up muscles which are heavier than fat... did you exercise a lot?
but i can defs understand that you wanna go back to your original weight (same thing over here ^^) so i wish you good luck!
and alcohol is not very helpful if you wanna lose weight because its basically sugar... plus your body stops burning fat for a while after you had a drink... and if you drink cocktails and things like that you get all the extra sugar from fruit juices, etc... so try not to drink at all or at least less while you're dieting! and if you do, the best choice is probably wine, as it has less calories than things like beer, etc!
Hi there am also new here and i wanna go back also to my old weight same as you to 110lbs and am 122 lbs...My only problem right now is discipline...though ive lost like 1.1 lbs last week it seems that the longer I try to exercise the heavier am getting...wish me luck.
hey weisskreuz ^^
what you're experiencing is completely normal, don't worry! while youre exercising, you're building up muscles and burning fat. however, muscle tissue weighs more than fat, so that you tend to weigh more or lose weight slowlier when you start dieting. but youre not getting bigger, you will notice it when youre clothes fit easier etc ;)
so don't get disencouraged when your weight won't go down as fast as you want -> that doesn't mean youre not getting slimmer ;)
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
