Hi! Who wants to join me in a NEW!!! June challenge of losing 10 pounds :)
Hi! My name is Jodi...I am new to carlorie count and was wondering if anyone would like to join me in challenging yourself to lose up to 10 pounds in the month of June.
Healthy weight loss is 2-3 pounds per week so I chose the median number of 10. Even if you manage to lose 1-9 pounds that is GREAT!!!!!. It's always nice to share our triumps and challenges over the course of one month. And as a new member it is also a nice way to meet new buddies.
If you are interested just reply to my post and we can all record our starting weights on June 1st and our ending weight on June 30th. All are welcome whether you are a new member or an exsisting member.
I will be here everyday to lend my support...so lets all get together and suppport one another for a sucessfull June weight loss challenge!!!!!

WOW!!! So many grand accomplishments already....there is only five days until the weigh in. So what I will be doing is posting everyones start weight here on June 2nd before midnight so that gives everyone a chance to give me there weight and on Monday of every week until the 30th we can have a weigh in and I will keep the post updated. All those that are interested just send me a message in my inbox of your start weight and keep me updated until the end. Not too sure if you have to add me as a friend or not to send me a message, if so please do and I shall accept.

Well done to everyone, we are all doing so well!! I know it's thursday now so I'm a bit late with posting my weight but figured as Jodi is going to record the final weights next week I forgot to do it! Well done Jodi on 20lbs in a month, that's amazing, I bet you're feeling great.
So I lost 3lbs this week, but I have just started on some medication that makes me feel very sick, so i haven't been managing to meet my calorie targets this week, which is probably why. So it will probably all come back on this week! I also bought a rowing machine, which I am loving, and have started doing some yoga videos which are on youtube.. Somebody posted a topic about it a few days ago. I would definately recommend it, it's so addictive!! Here's the thread incase anyone's interested.

I just wanted to say that I just checked my BMI and I am FINALLY back to a healthy weight!!!
My BMI is now 24.7 and it's so nice to not see the word "overweight" next to it.
It also says that a reasonable weight loss for me per week is between 0.5-2 lbs., so I'm staying within that by losing 0.5-1 lb. per week.

Didn't want you to think I quit..........I didn't - just not seeing what I was hoping. I did lose a pound this week so that is good and I am sure I was bloated because I got my period on Tuesday so hopefully next week will be a good way in. I think once I see a good loss for the week that will push me. So..........I have lost what I wanted but I am not giving up and I hope I will get on track for next months!
We are leaving for the beach on Sunday so I won't be able to give you my weight for the end of the month until the 6th - if it doesn't count that is fine - I will still probably tell you! ![]()

Hello Everyone, Congrats on the fat loss so far.
I was just thinking how the June challenge will be over soon. So this is the fun time when we can think about how we are going to reward ourselves for completing the challenge, and perhaps even think about setting goals and rewards for the July challenge.
I thought this could motivate us over this last weekend and through the next challenge!
For myself - for finishing the challenge I will get a massage after the last weigh in on the 29th and although i might not meet my 10 pounds goal this month - when i do i plan on getting my body fat percentage checked as a reward ![]()
What are your planned rewards for 1) completing the challenge and 2) meeting your goal?
Hoping to hear of some fun rewards - best of luck with the last few days!
sadly, I did not lose any weight this entire month :( I think it's a combination of overeating and eating the wrong foods. However, I havent gained either! so yay!
I'm going to stop snacking all day at work. I started running, and I don't want to undo my progress

1) Planned Reward: I bought new capris for myself because I went down a size
2) I have met my goals and plan to maintain my new lifestyle changes to keep the weight coming off:)

So since 1st of June I managed to lose 13.2 lbs. That is a big success for me. Yesterday I celebrated my success with baileys ice cream, pina colada and sushi :p Hope there is a July challenge cause it motivates me a lot.

I hope all of you are doing great! Last week has been really great. I am so happy that I lost 4.6 lbs. afined thank you so much, u helped me out to plan my dinner (soup n salad with some grilled chicken). June has been a great month for me, I am looking forward to succeed in July too.

So, I lost 7 pounds overall. I'm definitely all for the July challenge. My goal will be not to necessarily lose 10 pounds (although I will shoot for that) but to get into the 130's. I would be REALLY happy with that. Thank so much jodi, I was bouncing around in the 150s until this challenge, and you got me back on track to losing weight.
Well I am a little bummed, I only lost 4.6 pounds. I am good during the week for the most part but the weekends and eating out is where I fail. Congrats to everyone and good luck going forward.

Well I am only down 1 pound this month. However, I need a new wardrobe. I had been recovering from surgery and just started to be able to workout this month. My muscles have come back stronger than ever, and I feel like I don't have as much fat in a lot of places, but only 1 pound off.
I feel better than I have ever felt, and can't wait to be able to get some new clothes!
