Recipe Ingredients for High Fiber Macaroni and Cheese

14 oz Barilla Plus macaroni
6 slices american cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar
2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons flour

Recipe Directions for High Fiber Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Blend flour and milk in a saucepan, using a whisk.

  2. Heat and stir over medium heat, until bubbling and thickened.

  3. Add American cheese, torn into pieces - stir until melted.

  4. Add shredded cheddar in batches, stirring after each addition.

  5. Pour sauce over cooked macaroni (cook macaroni according to directions, but let sit in the water without heat for a few minutes if you want softer macaroni) and serve.
