An adaptation of another recipe here. For convince you can store already measured dry ingredients until needed.
| 1 1/2 | cup flour, whole grain |
| 1 | cup oat bran, raw |
| 2 | tsp sugar (option: vanilla sugar) |
| 1 | tbs baking soda |
| 1 | tbs baking powder |
| 2 | cup milk, lowfat, fluid, 1% |
| 4 | egg white |
| 2 | tsp olive oil |
| 2 | cup water, aprox |
- Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet, except water, ingredients in another. Note: you can add flavors here if you like as well.
- Mix together, adding water most but not all water (~1.5 cup), and let stand for 15 - 20 minutes, until mixture thickens a little, add more water if batter gets too thick.
- Heat pan, spray with oil if needed, and pour batter into pan then fry until bubbles begin to go away.
- Turn and cook other side until done.
- Serve with your favorite topping.
