Hiking in and around L.A

Hi, I would love to go hiking in L.A. any idea where a good, moderate trail is?

griffith park is a good spot to hike.

Canyon Park has some great trails. It's right off of Franklin and Canyon over in Hollywood. You hike pretty high up in the hills, almost to the Hollywood sign.

Moderate hiking is great & pleasant at Solstice Canyon in Malibu, begins right behind Beau Rivage restaurant on PCH. A favourite for slower days and long walks.

I have heard Runyon Canyon is a great place. I have a friend who goes every weekend and says it is a great workout. I still have yet to go and try it but plan to in the near future:)
