my hips seem to "pop", any ideas as to why?

hello there, i am 19 years old, and I would consider myself decently fit. i eat healthy, I am always on my toes at work, i play quite a bit of basketball and at home i like to run 2 miles every other day and work out every other day as well. i have noticed however, that if i place my hands on my upper hips when i walk, i can feel some kind of popping. at first i didnt know what to make of this, but now i am geniunely freaked out. i feel no pain, and my movement is not restricted, any ideas?

thanks

mmg88... no advice here, but mine do the same thing!
ya my fckin right hip pops when i do abs.. lol and i actually feel pain...
Mine do that alot, and it is usually due to cavitation of SI Joints but can also be due to lumbar sacral cavitation in your lower back.  If you feel pain, you should see your doctor or chiropractor to get assessed.

Hope this helps!
And I thought I was the only one! I have less of that now, thankfully. Try walking in different poses, different feel. Then you will have an idea what kind of walking pose causes your hips to pop.
