I hit my 50 pound milestone today
Just wanted to share my joy with you guys!!!
WELLDONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any tips lol
Good for you! I hope I can say the same one day! Congrats!
210amyg, the best tip I can give you is to move. It doesn't have to be strenuous, or go on for hours at a time. As long as you do it consistently and combine it with a sensible diet, you will see results. To be honest, I haven't suffered one bit in the last few months--I still eat pretty much what I want, but I use common sense and moderation. And I move. I do 10 minutes of calisthenics and walk 10-15 minutes 2-3 a day on weekdays, and I incorporate as much movement into my weekends as possible. I've lost about 1.5 a week, but it's been consistent and virtually painless. :)
Congratulations! Are you a vegetarian by chance? I can't beleive you are saying you lost 50 lbs without any pain. I am so happy. I wish I can be successful also.
That must be an amazing feeling :) I am starting my first "real" attempt at losing weight... you know how we all have those half-assed attempts for a while before we get serious about it. Reading success stories makes me believe its really possible and the jealousy helps motivate me to reach my own goal, so thank you for sharing. Congratulations, i envy your scucess, keep up the great work!
Congrats! That is awesome!

Congratulations! It's a great feeling and you deserve to celebrate your accomplishment.
Great Job!! That rocks!
Congratulations!! That's a great accomplishment. You have motivated me to move more today.
Congratulations!! That's wonderful! I'm trying to get there myself, but I keep fluctuating at 46-48 lbs lost. I'm not too worried about it though because the same thing happened when I was trying to get to 20, 30, and 40 pounds lost as well! I know I'll get there myself! Again congratulations!!!!! That's a huge accomplishment!

Actually, yes, I am a pescatarian. It does give me a slight advantage over others, because I don't eat meat (except fish) and can't stand the taste of 99% of all cheeses. As for the no pain part--it's simple. I gave myself lots of time--if I reach my final destination (150 lbs) in three years, I'll be thrilled. I work at my own pace, do my own exercises, and set my own challenges. I'm gentle with myself and do not under any circumstances beat myself up if, say, I don't exercise one day. When I see myself slipping back into old habits, I re-evaluate, figure out what I need to correct, and gently push myself back into the game. This 50 lbs took me 7 months, which some people might think is too slow. But I took my whole life to reach 360 lbs. I can take my time losing it, right?

Yay for you! I stayed at 42 lbs for an entire MONTH, but I didn't let myself worry. I figure I reach a stage, stay there, then move on. It's no biggie. I'm in no rush to get there--I'm just enjoying the heck out of the journey.
