k, so i just cleaned up 11 days' worth of leftover containers from my husband's lunches.  it was NASTY!  i guess that's what i get for waiting all week to do 'em. as i wiped the interiors of the plastic containers, i invoked the image of millions of life=forms, those little green, moldy glaxies, being transmutated into something unknown.

canid-wrangler.  you are sucha country-gurl.  didja know we have squirrels that are about 18-24" from head to tail here in GA?  folks in OR thought i was pulling their legs!  i always thought things grew bigger int eh NW. apparently i was wrong.  the squiirels up there are the size of chipmunks!  tiny lil critters.

(and no, my accent is not really that bad.)

i just really like the song and the lyrics are great. 

if you'll notice, the stems dislocate from the cup-part of the glass, for easy washing in the dishwasher. 

Yup, a squirrel the size of a house cat is what they got hold of.

i suppose 'chat-ficuses' have ice, rather than potting soil.  it is white wine ya know.
