Hlep! Panic! Have I undone all my hard work?
I've been dieting for 5 weeks now and I've lost 5 pounds, (I'm half way to my goal weight wo ho!) But over the last number of weeks I've noticed my appetite getting smaller and my food choices, healthier!
I usually try to stick to about 1200 cals per day but on three days this week I've "under-eaten" just through eating things like grilled fish and veg or salad etc so my cals only hit about 1000 a day.
Untill last night.
I went to a friends house for dinner, shes in the final stages of pregnancy and she told me that the whole day she had been craving pizza and chips. It was the only thing to eat, I couldnt be rude and say no, so I had to eat. I kept my portion as small as I could but I actually lost sleep last night over what I had done!
My weigh in is tomorrow and I'm terrified of whats going to be on the scales, have I ruined my whole week now? Or will my "under-eat" save me? Does anyone know what I can expect to see?
Please help

It's well known that one slice of pizza completely ruins several weeks of consistent healthy eating and exercise.... But don't worry, I'm only pulling your leg.
You might gain a little due to fluid retention if the pizza was particularly salty but that's about all.... Being 'terrified' of a gain is a bit over the top.
Undereating is never a good thing to do... just leaves you feeling hungry and therefore more likely to eat too much when you get the opportunity. Try to keep a sense of perspective about eating foods (like pizza) that are different to normal. 'Losing sleep' doesn't sound the reaction of someone with a healthy mental balance, frankly. And do try to get a better balance in your foods in general.... grilled fish and salad isn't a balanced diet by any means.
Don't forget that once you're at your target weight you then need to maintain it..... This means you'll need to increase your calorie intake to something more normal (around 2000 for the typical adult woman) so that you're well-nourished. And 'pizza and chips' nights with friends will crop up from time to time as well.
Eating a couple slices of pizza isn't going to ruin everything. In order for you to gain back your 5 pounds that you have lost, you would have had to have eaten 17500 OVER your maintenence level yesterday and I doubt that you ate that much pizza.
Besides, every once in awhile you deserve to indulge a little bit.
Don't get obsessive. Trust me, been there done that. I agree with GI Jane's second paragraph, if you are stressing this much over that then you need to take a step back and observe your habits.

also agreed.. we are human anyway.. and you should really try to eat more in general.
I have experienced the exact same thing. I can tell you what helped me tremendously. A friend told me to go to ardysslife.com/tovareeder and go t the "nutrition" link get the AM/PM pills. LOVE THEM!! By the way, I have tried several of their products all of which I am completely satisfied with.
Or you could bump the idea of paying for pills to lose those 5 lbs that you are more than capable of losing on your own. You don't need Ardyss when you can listen to (smart, successful )GI_Jane who I have always respected and get your metabolism nice and healthy. 5 lbs is annoying to lose, becuase it is often stubborn, but it can be done. You may need more that 1200, becuase if you don't feel satisfited, you will cheat.
I eat the things I want, but I am smarter about it now. A slice of pizza here and there will not undo all of your work. You are so close, so be proud of what you have done and make sure you eat enough :)

don't worry about it....should you make it a habit? no! but everyone has moments of weakness. You probably leveled it out for the week since you said you didn't make 1200 calories during the days prior.
each day is a new day, just try your best to stick to your plan and EAT AT LEAST 1200 calories!!!! put chicken on your salad, or croutons, or peanuts or something so you get up to 1200. Even just have a glass of milk!
