hmmmm difference between sweets and fruit please
i dont understand something.
do you know sweets as in candy... say haribo? well if you have say 3 apples a day which is about 200 calories along with your normal meals as snacks.... would you lose more weight than have 200 calories worth of sweeties along with your meals. or would it be the same?
so if i eat 1200 calories + 200 cal apples
or
1200 calories + 200 sweets/candy
will it be same amount of weightloss!?
seems strange.

You'd expect to lose the same amount of weight because weight-loss is ultimately down to cals in vs cals out. However, 200 cals of sweets might be just 3 small chocolates. 200 cals of apples would be 3 decent-size apples. You'd probably feel more satisfied having eaten the apples and you wouldn't feel hungry for a while. You'd get rather more vitamins from the apples as well so, as part of your 1400 cals they'd provide a lot more 'bang for your buck'.
But it's all down to balance and personal choice.
Just what jane said. A 200-calorie portion of candy is just plain sad :( But if it satisfies you, go for it. I usually have 80 calories worth of candy after my dinner, and that is 3-6 pieces of winegums.
Technically you can eat anything and lose weight, HOWEVER...as Jane mentioned in the junk department your serving size will be a lot less and you probably won't feel as satisfied. Then factoring in nutrition you would get more health benefits from the apple then the chocolate.
ahhh so its all about the quantity.
thanks xx
