Hey everyone, I just thought it would be interesting to hear everyone's hobbies. I desperately need one! So share away!
Good Morning.
I like to quilt, scrapbook, and research my family genealogy.
I hire myself out as a hitman on the side. Satisfying work.
I write :) it's only a hobby because no one let's me make it a job
I knit.
apostrophe abuse - I meant 'lets'
I like to knit and I like gardening. I also like to do craft projects with the kids
gardening (including propagation); beading; gemstone collection (and hopefully I can go on digging expeditions for raw gemstones soon!); hiking; fishing (with hubby)...
I like to read, bake and currently learning to decorate. Oh and lurking on CC of course!
My fave however is my 3rd year uni project: Assessing the Use of LED's as an Economic Source of Lighting to Stimulate Plant Growth aka the cannabis project... (my tutor made me laugh when he told me that)
disclaimer:in no way am I going to be using cannabis as part of my project! more likely radishes and lettuces... maybe some tomatoes.

guitar. paint. write. read. cook.
soon to be adding golf when I can swing a club again. :)
I'm with Kathygator, golfing is my favorite. I also love to water ski but it only works in the summer. I don't like the cold so snow skiing is out!
I love to cook and bake. I sew and dabble in knitting and crocheting when I can tear myself away from my sudoku or crossword puzzles. I'm teaching myself to play piano. I also have an obsession with keeping my house clean (my mother's fault).
If I had time/money I would:
-build myself a pottery studio and go out there in my rubber boots and play in the clay for hours;
-sign up for a rock-climbing class;
-take more salsa lessons
jewelry making, riding horses, reading, baking, gardening.
soon im going to be getting into a little graphic design on the computer when i have time to take classes. i would also love to learn to play the piano.
In no particular order:
- Making Jewelry
- Painting
- Drawing
- Reading
- Watching films and movies
- Rock Climbing and Working out
- Cycling and Hiking
- Collecting sea shells, sea glass
- Rock Tumbling
- Playing old school board games (chutes and ladders yo!)
- Re-watching classic movies (Labyrinth anyone?)
- Cooking and Baking
- Video Games
- Knitting and Crocheting
- Reading
- Cooking!
- Reading cook books!
- Sewing, crocheting
Lately though, all my reading is for college classes. :(
Reading, crocheting, cross-stitch, other random crafts.
I can't say reading is a hobby, since it's necessary to my well-being. :) Other ways I fritter away my time include
Archery - participating and coaching
Reading
These are the things I currently do:
- Cooking & Baking
- Cross Stitch & Embroidery
- Sewing
- Gardening
- Landscaping the yard
- Bowling
I want to learn to golf, but I'm not sure I can hit the ball without hurting my wrist. I need to at least try to hit the ball to see what will happen. If I can, then I'll sign up for lessons in the spring.
I love, love, love reading.
I enjoy any fabric craft. I sew (appliques on shirts, embellishments, things like that), knit, make tutus, etc.
I also like doing crafts with my daughter who is almost 5.
I enjoy cake/cupcake decorating. I'm just starting to dabble in this, though. It's difficult to always have cakes in the house when it's hard to control myself!
I love music. Listening to it, playing instruments (I play piano, bassoon, flute, tenor sax, piccolo and recorder) or making up songs for my kids.
Games. Card games, board games, word searches, anything!
Draw! And knit! And Crochet!
Actually, draw out a blanket design, crochet it, then read a book under said blanket. <3
