Quote  |  Reply

Hi, I am going on holiday in December (over Christmas) visiting family and friends... (With a few tourist things)

So how do you fit exercise in the busy days?

How do you resist or don't the wonderfull foods/ SWEETS!?

Thanks :)

Well, if it's possible be active every way you can! If you could maybe in the morning when you wake up you can go for a walk around the neighboorhood or take a family friend with you and go for a walk to catch up.  Shopping too, going to the mall always burns calories with all that walking!

I'm sure all the tourist-y things do with walking, so you'll be fine in that area.  Make smart choices and drink plenty of water! Personally, I wouldn't eat any sweets I can get any time of the year if I had to.  Like chocolate chip cookies, brownies, etc.  Have fun.

Agreed with what jenlett said. Also, don't stand by a table of sweets while you talk, and any sweet you indulge in, truly savor! If you take a handful of cookies and narf them all down while you're speaking to someone, they'll be gone before you know it and you'll have barely tasted them!

Thanks for your tips... I will try do my best!
Do you have any 'Hotel' exercises before the day starts without the pool, or gym.. Like a routine of push ups/situps/squats?

I would google 'exercises you can do in a hotel room'.

I found things like, squats, lunges, using a chair for lunges and squats, calf raises, pilates. You can also walk up and down the stairs a few times, although you may get funny looks from the maids..:P. But it's all good!

Even Mike from Dirty Jobs uses the Prison Workout, also called "burpees". :)
