4th of july american cuisine: greek pasta salad: feta cheese, bow tie pasta, black or kalamata olives, a bit of olive oil to keep it moist, chopped red pepper, wilted spinach or arugula, and halved grape tomatoes
halloween candy: any of those mini candy bars. Those are dangerous

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. It's just that it's listed as an official holiday by the fed, and many Americans celebrate it, so I added it to the list.
Which reminds me, should I also add the World Vegetarian Day on Oct 1 for fun? xD
I'm totally going to ignore any dietary limitations I have now and post in my all time favourites. But, ah, I switched out July 4th for Chinese New Year as I'm not an American! (I also obviously realise Chinese New Year is not an American holiday either.)
New Year's Drink: I can no longer drink, but when I could I loved a single serving of sweet sherry. Olorosso or Pedro Ximenes. It was like drinking a dessert.
Valentine's Day Treat: A valentine. .__. In seriousness, strawberries and cream.
St. Patrick's Irish Bread or Stew: Beef and Guinness.
Easter Dinner Dish: Sage and onion stuffing.
