Holiday Trimmings Challenge: Register Now!
If you're like me, dieting is put on hold over the holidays. You consider it a victory if you can just keep from gaining (or only gain a few pounds).
It's time to change that. I'm looking for like-minded, weight loss-focused people to prove that weight can be lost, even while doing holiday baking and going to seasonal parties.
This challenge will run from Nov. 15 (one week before Thanksgiving, while you're shopping and cooking) through January 6 (just long enough to account for extra goodies leftover in the house).
I'd like to make this challenge as interactive as possible, so you must be willing to receive e-mail updates, tips, and encouragement from me.
Also, the winner of the challenge (but I hope we'll all win in our own way) will receive a small reward from me, as well as tons of woo-hoos and instant cred.
Let's trim ourselves, not just the turkey.

Is everyone ready? Thanksgiving is a week away, so you can make a good head start! Be sure and mail me your starting weights and I'll try to post a list of players/weights tonight.
Sure. Anyone who pms me their weight by today AND posts to this thread (so I can make my master list) BEFORE I post the roster can sign up.
I'm in! Great idea - I know this is truly going to be a challenge. I won't have access to internet for probably about 4-5 days after christmas. I have really gotten used to logging each day so I know this will be hard. But I'm going to be up in the mountains skiing/ snowboarding so I'll be buring lots and lots!
The site wouldn't let me log in this morning, so I'll have to post the list this evening.

Hey genius! Thanks for setting all this up! I picked up a new, more accurate scale (which has me at the same weight right now, btw) just to make sure I could see the exact number throughout the holidays! Body fat and water percent (?) and everything (35% body fat...quite the eye opener ^_^).
Now, as a very competitive person, how exactly are we judging a winner? Percent weight loss?
And one last thing, are we doing a weekly weigh-in (I might have missed where this was discussed...)?
