Takes about 10-14 days for any noticeable deconditioning to occur, and only a few workouts to get back to where you were. So don't worry too much about it. If you can get in one workout at around the 6-7 day mark, you should be good as far as fitness is concerned; the rest is all down to your diet.

In the mornings it will not be superhot yet, try to do a lot of walking and if you feel up to it and are a bit more used to the heat, do a proper work out. I don't know if you will be at a beach, but do some walking on the beach, walking in the sand is actually a really good work out in itself, and of course go swim, which will also help you stay cool !!! I always find that when I am on a holiday I actually do get a bit more movement in because of sight seeing and such.

Most of all: HAVE FUN !!!

i just got back from portugal a little over a week ago and it's really not too hot in the evenings in fact one evening i was cold with a cardigan on! but if it's a holiday its quite nice to take a break from excercise anyway and if your still sticking to your healthy diet i doubt it will effect you too much!

have a lovely time :)
