Hey everyone! i know i posted this a while back, but i need answers and help. Im going on holidays tommorow morning!Very exciting. But I wont be able to count my calories because it is a half board style place, in Spain, and I am not going to know what all the calorie counts are for all the foods! I have been trying to cut down on countin because its harbouring my food choices and making meals confusing and making food wuite more controlling. But I am still wanting to keep gaining. Any advice? Im currently on 3000-3500 a day.

Ohh luck you, what part of Spain are you going to?

Well I cant really offer any great advice here, really it will just be a matter of trying your best to eat really well. You arent counting calories but if you go out for a meal try your best just to judge what your having and make sure you get enough throughout the day.Since you wont really know the exact calories in what your eating, this could be a great opportunity to try and let go a little and see how you fair just eating normally and what you feel like eating.

Do remember though on holiday you could end up walking about loads and stuff if your sight seeing.

i agree with laura , you must be very excited . try not to worry just take it in your stride and try to eat the best you can . you know what basic meals consist of as long a you get all the food groups at regular times. try to venture out a bit try new foods if you can , try to trust yourself if you feel like more have more , i know its easier said than done , just do your best mate and enjoy thinking of you h x i hear spanish wine is pretty good and the waiters who are serving it h xxLaughing

Thanks!im nervous thats all. I packed 12 ensures (just in case!), but that brought my case over the weight limit!, so out came the books, priorities!!. I know I can benefit from this holiday. Its the unknown and change thats scaring me. It is a holiday after all, I can look forward to it and the foods just one part (that i CAN do!)positive thinking!xx

I worry a lot about food when I go away to but think of it this way, you were worried about maybe not meeting your current weight gain intake so go out there have a great time, eat what you fancy because remember you have a pretty good intake target to meet anyhow :-) . After a few days I`m sure you`ll be fine, just relax and enjoy yourself!
