Ok i am 5'6 and a half i guess..and i weigh 139 well No one has ever really called me a fatass before but lol i know there are some fat areas like my armpit fat and my love handles and anyways so i wanna lose weight! Look at all the hollywood girls like lindsay lohan paris hilton i mean by the attention they get u would think its GOOD to be 5'6 and 100lbs well my goal is 120 and thats hard enough but i guess i am obsessed with this whole weight loss thing and i am not giving up i just feel like my weight is never good enough!!! will i ever be satisfied?!

I so know how you feel! i hate my armpit area and lovehandles. is it true that the place you have the most fat is the place that you lose it last? i bloody hope not! I'm not as tall as you but I think if you're taller you can get away with a couple of pounds, when you're short like me (5'2") its more noticeable. =[
First, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are WAY TOO THIN - That's not healthy. So i'm glad you aren't going for 100lbs.
As far as losing 19 lbs - you can do that - easy! To work on your armpit fat (personally I have the wings on my upper arms... you know, you wave and your arms keep going 5 min after your done - that's me - family curse) try working the muscles in that area by doing some weights. that'll help tone that area. The love handles - do some side crunces and leg lifts to work on that area.
Don't forget - cardio helps to burn fat too! :)
Just know that you are beautiful and whatever flaws you think you see, the rest of the world doesn't really notice! :)

hollywood really sucks on a role model level. The women are more or less all unnaturally thin, and most have had things done. I could also think of positive hollywood celebs with gorgeous bodies but still with normal weight:
Eva Larue, Catherine Bell, Jorja Fox, ecc ecc.
But those are all women gifted also ( a part from following a very controlled diet) with really cool bodies dna wise. Tall, slim....eccecc.
I would not look to hollywood for guidelines.

Ok Sasha I think it is SO true that the most fat you have u lose it last! I lose my boobs and my butt (the 2 things i cannot AFFORD to lose) and i just want this armpit crap to go AWAY which i AM going to start lifting..thanks for the advice ladies..But anyways thanks for the support!

Let me add on to this. I live in hollywood, and i actually work at a cafe where celebs like paris hilton, renee zelwegger, nicole richie, the olson twins etc come in, and everyone in my neighborhood is truely addicted to their looks, it's disturbing. IT really does rule their lives over here. Dont get me wrong, most of them are staying fit the healthy way, particularly the males. But most the women live with calories ruling their lives.
also, just like jumaolster said, so many of the women have fake breasts, lips, face lifts, the whole deal. I will see someone come in one day looking unrealistically smaller a month later, to where you know the only way they got that way was lipo. Same with breast size. Not to mention half the girls pay big money to get fake tans througout the winter.
So I feel I'm in the same exact boat. That I'm 5'7" and if I somehow, almost as a miracle make it down to 120 it still wouldn't be "hollywood thin." But I'm pretty determined to do it. Telling myself that it is for health reasons. That carring around 10 extra lbs of fat is doing me no favors.
But is helll dropping calories down to 1200-1400. I've lost so much energy! UGH! Makes me sleepy. Makes it hard to go work out. Makes it hard to get up and go running (something I enjoy through thick and thin.)
I''m telling myself not to go near a scale or bad food for a week. This week is a much fruit and veggies as I can do. Maybe a pick me of red bull (sugar free) before I hit the streets in my sneakers.
And it is a consistancy thing. 1-Consistantly restrict calories, 2-always find one hour to work out a day. 3-Don't eat late at night! (ok I just broke rule number three.) 4- Enjoy my life while doing it. I need to know this is a life long thing. That for the rest of my life I only put into my body the stuff I want to "stick around." I mean this is who I want to be. I want to be the person that takes fruit to the movies and eats veggies with every meal and never has red meat and only eats when I'm hungry, not out of bordem, and has like 65 oz of water a day. SOOO basically I want to do this whole healthy thing perfectly.... so that I can be thin.
I would also like to invent a kind of cookie dough that only does good things for me. That is made from some kind of soy flour, splenda blend sugar, egg beaters or egg whites, dark chocolate and vitamins. (actually if you all have the reciepe for this, could you save me the trouble?)

Probably not. Um, they get attention because they are FAMOUS. They are on TV and in movies. It's not ALL about their gross, toothpick bodies.
posh has the body i hope to have one day. but i don't expect it anytime soon, it's a process of course.

yea ok well Paris Hilton isn't really famous because of her performances on Television...and neither is Lindsay Lohan although she IS a much better actress than Lindsay Lohan. And also I LIKE the really skinny hollywood girl look for some reason and I am sick and tired of my unwanted curves!!!! i ATE AT sonic today and I feel horrible about it lol sometimes i feel like there is NO HOPE i still weigh 140 i have not lost any pounds i have actually gained a pound...gggrrrr
no way is lindsay 117, i'd say more 125 at least, she is about 5' 7" and all....
Paris Hilton actually weighs 109lbs. and is 5'7"...at least she was when she was arrested for her DUI, that is what the police station said...and she was dressed, so probably deduct 2lbs.....Lindesy Lohan is about the same...in pictures of them together they have almost identical frames...
The person who posted #11, pinthin...moust be out of their mind or blind if they called Paris Hilton fat...lol...perhaaps you need to see her in a swim suit with her hip bones ans ribs showing....that is why people turn anorexic, you have people like that calling thin people fat...If she is fat, then the rest of the world is ENORMOUS!!!!!
.....uh..what's wrong with fake boobs? I had floppy golf balls in a sock when my kids were done with em and boy I sure like em better now! But yes, as shallow as this..and my boobs are...yes there is no way Paris is 100lbs., nor Lindsay I'm pretty sure, Posh needs a sandwich BAAADDD though... but don't forget that we all have diff. body shapes and she looks really tiny, too tiny...
Also yes the fame and money is why they are soooo popular and well loved, aspired and looked up to. Unfortunately we want that so much we don't see how they got there and that it is all an illusion...

*or that Paris is way too thin and look at her hip bones sticking out, there are allot of people who eat healthy and work out and have bony hips with still some chubb (or should I say healthy flesh) on the side of the bottom or thighs.
From the looks of their life styles their weight fluctuates from time to time depending on how much partying they are doing...

I was reading a people magazine the other day. It said Jennifer Aniston's average dinner was 3 sushi rolls. I think that's ridiculous that 3 sushi rolls could be a dinner. No wonder hollywood standards are so hard to achieve.
