Wow! I just made my own orange flavored water!
1 gallon of filtered water if you have a filter. Tap water will work. 1 orange, washed. Cut the ends off and then cut in half. Squeeze orange into the gallon of water and drop the whole orange into the water as well. Try not to get the seeds in. Let it steep about three hours in the frig. Remove the whole orange after three hours. Enjoy!!
Yummy!!!! And very inexpensive! I'm going to try this with other fruit. I know lemons will work. What about mango? Grapefruit might get bitter...hummmm? Any other ideas???

sliced cucumbers and lemons in the water... delish! ... very refreshing
cucumbers and lemons? sounds cool!
ginger slices steeped in hot water. Very yummy if you like a bit of spice and good hot or cold.
mmmm... i was at a spa in California and they served water w/cucumbers and lemon in it after the "refreshing" mud baths...
my boyfriend does a similar thing with alcohol... lol he make's his own flavors... some take anywhere from a week to a month... So, lets see.... vanilla, raspberrys, blueberries, pumpkin, banana, cinnamon.... those are the flavors he makes.... Wonder what it would taste like in water... I think the cinnamon would be good, and also it lowers your blood sugar, so it's a good drink for diabetics.

Fresh mint leaves are always really good in water.
Ginger and lemon are a great combination, good cold or hot...
A really pretty thing to add to water (and other drinks) are pomegranite seeds. They sit like pretty red jewels at the bottom of your cup and are especially pretty in martinis.

Oh YUMMY! These all sound fantastic!I'm going to tag this to keep the ideas! Thanks everyone!
cucumber lemon is one of my fave combos for water. Vitamin water (I think) used to sell that flavor but stopped. I think I will have to make some of my own. I will use the english cukes though as they are far less bitter than domestic cukes...
or maybe the little lemon cukes?
off to grab another glass... all this water talk has me parched.
