Hoodia pills!! Anyone use them or have?

Quote  |  Reply

So, i just bought some Liquid Hoodia pills to add with my diet... im still eating healthy and working out as well, just thought of trying this out.  I dont know much about diet pills and what not, but the sound of a "healthy natural product" that will help out with weight loss seemed nice lol

A friend of mine told me when she tried out hoodia her heart raced like crazy and it didnt work, so i was wondering the affects on others!

Just wondering, has anyone ever tried them? any affects they have had on you? any advice about these?

I have heard a lot of negative things about all diet pills (no matter how natural they claim to be).  A lot of diet pills can cause health risks or can become addictive.  I had a friend who became ana with diet pills.  I wouldn't start taking them until you talk to your doctor.

Hoodia is supposed to help with weight loss by making you feel not hungry.

Yes, that part works.

BUT, my experience (during the whole 2 days I tried them shortly after they came out) was that I was so NOT hungry in the morning that I couldn't eat breakfast and then by the time it wore off I was **starving** and would eat ravenously.  Obviously undoing everything I was supposedly trying to accomplish.

I suppose if I were going on walkabout or something where food simply wasn't available I would take hoodia just to keep the hunger pangs away.  But for weight loss, I much prefer staying full on high protein breakfasts, fruits, nuts, veges and whole grains.  I'm never *hungry* (ravenous).

My only suggestion if you want to try them is to eat your breakfast *before* taking the pills ;-)

didnt do a thing for me  but I only tried them for a few days... complete waste of money

They made me feel like I had a knot or a rock in my stomach, but not painful.  However, I didn't think they curbed my appetite.  I still have them but I'm not taking them.
i was looking into them for a while, and found that a whole bunch of different types of brands that claim to use hoodia are actually placebos. you'd be better off taking raw ginger or something that is for sure the real thing to curb your appetite. the hoodia pills dont have anything in them you cant get anywhere else; they have caffeine in them too, to "raise your metabolism"- green tea would be a heck of a lot better.

I heard Hoodia was great (natural form). I bought the pills, tried them for 2 days. Nothing..........

Good luck!

They work alright for me...but i like to use them before i exercise sometimes, and then i can just eat after sometime..

For natural pills....theres also apple cider vinegar, green tea extract, CLA, and umm astragalus.....but these can be quite pricey.....

soo i just drink lots of green tea, and some times have a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar....they both are VERY good for your health, and not only in ways to reduce weight...google it
I tried hoodia for about two weeks.  The first couple of days I did feel like it helped curb my appetite but as mentioned above I felt really full in the mornings and then when it wore off around noon I was also very hungry and the afternoon pill did not seem to help.  Also with the pills I had to drink a lot of water or else I got constipated.  I ultimately stopped taking them.  I don't think it's worth it.  I've yet to find a pill that really helps with weight loss.
i have some from a year ago, they are rubbish. did nothing for me, in fact ill dig them out the cupboard when i get home and bin them to stop be being tempted again.
