Hello Everyone: Laughing

I recently bought this product that supposedly it's completely natural; exported from Africa and it comes from a cactus.  http://www.hoodithin.com/ Anyone here used it? and if so what has been your experience.  I've been using it for two-days and its suppose to suppress your appetite while obviously choosing better foods and exercising regularly but these last two days I've felt more hungry than ever.

Could you share your experience?

Much Appreciated!

That makes me so mad...yesterday I was HUNGRY all day while on that thing.  Supposedly it suppresses you appetite. I paid $70.00 for it too.  I'm going to see how I feel today w/out it and try it again and see if it makes me hungry all day...
The best thing you can do to keep from being hungry is eating small calorie meals every 3 hours. Supplements can help, but usually because the caffeine in them detour your appetite.
Any one try the new diet pill Alli?
*tisk tisk* You are all so naive. The answer is not in diet pills. It's a scam. The whole of America knows how fat and desperate we are to lose weight; they will tell you almost anything to buy their [mostly falsified] products.

Ever wonder why Diet Pill commercials tell you "You don't have to change your diet to lose weight, just take this bill 30 minutes before your meal and you'll lose 15 lbs in 30 days!" Or something along those lines. Sounds great, doesn't it?

Then you read the fine print on the bottom that says: "Diet and exercise required, results may vary (or is not guaranteed)." Then you think... well, wait a second... you said I didn't have to change my diet. What if my diet currently consists of cheeseburgers and fries? And what if I'm currently not exercising?

You see, they'll tell you anything. Every product is the same. It's supposed to curb your appetite, give you energy, rev up your metabolism... but these are all things that you can do WITHOUT taking worthless diet pills. It's a complete waste of money and an extremely naive investment. Don't believe everything you hear on TV, because chances are it's BS.

Alli (the only OTC diet pill approved by the FDA) is supposed to work. But how? Let's see... it decreases the absorption of fat by the intestines. By doing that, you aren't getting all the calories, and if you eat more than 15g of fat in one sitting, you'll have "urgent bowel movements, diarrhea, and gas with oily spotting." Who wants that? Nobody. So, of course, they force themselves not to eat certain foods in fear of makin' a mess of themselves. These are things that people can do WITHOUT a pill. Why would you want to take a pill that puts fear into you? Why take the easy, lazy way out and take diet pills when you can do it the healthy, natural way and just diet and exercise? You have to diet and exercise on these pills ANYWAY, why not just do it without the pill? How much is the pill REALLY helping you? Not a whole lot.

People only *think* the pills help because, when they start taking the pill, they begin working harder toward their weight loss goal, which then makes them believe that the pill is the reason why they are losing weight. No. It's because the pill requires you to diet and exercise in order for it to work, when, in reality, you don't even NEED the pill to lose weight because the diet and exercise is what's doing it all!

Don't fall into the traps of money hungry people that are trying to sell you their product with those ridiculous [and obviously scripted] testimonials and BS lines such as "lose 15lbs in 7 days without changing a thing!" It all sounds too good to be true, and let me tell you, it truly is. It's a waste of money and worthless effort.

Take the path of least resistance and do it the right way. You CAN do it, I promise.

I dont know, but that girl with the measuring tape around her belly is smokin hot.
Tenderheart couldn't have said it BETTER!!! I am NOT an advocate of any kind of diet pills; HOWEVER there are things out there that do the SAME thing as some of this expensive stuff for WAY LESS money!!! They only mark the price up cause they KNOW people are gonna buy it (as was said above).

I take Chromium Picolinate. I got two bottles of like 100 pills each for $10. I really feel that it works. The only reason I ever tried it was because I found some laying around the house that somebody wasn't using, and I was curious. I liked it and then bought some more. I took it and didn't pay much attention to it, didn't really think it would do anything. Well, I find that I'm not hungry and I'm not even THINKING about food and I have lost a couple more pounds. I'm pretty much already thin as it is, was just trying to shave off a couple of pounds. OF COURSE, I eat VERY healthy and I exercise every single day pretty hard as well. I don't TRULY know if this stuff is what helped but I THINK it has. Incidently, my friend is taking it as well and she said she believes it's doing something for her too. BTW, it's supposed to stabilize blood sugar. And it's something the body needs and uses anyway.

Before you take anything, DO THE RESEARCH!!! We REALLY DON'T "need" anything though. We CAN do it on our own. :)
Seeing as how we are on the subject of diet pills... it seems to work ONLY for the people on TV, and it also magically makes them tan and their teeth whiter. haha, super pills.

Ok so basicly what they are talking about in that product is Hoodia, which comes from a plant found in africa. Now I tried hoodia and it actually works, it makes you super full and you will not want to eat at all. However real hoodia is not found growing everywhere and it is only in a limited supply. Really expensive and is not something you can eat if you have alot of weight to loose and I dont know if its exactly healthy. Most manufacturers who use hoodia have like a 5% hoodia in their product and a bunch of junk in it like green tea extracts and some oils that are supposed to help with other stuff. Its a sham.

Dont forget that when you do use pills you learn nothing of how to keep the weight off later on. It doesnt either learn you to eat normal meals once you reached your goal. Diet pills are such a limited product and unfortunatly nothing that would work in the long run.

A while ago I tried something called power pops, which is a sucker (lollipop) with hoodia in it (supposedly). That really did curb my appetite, I used to eat one when I felt like something sweet because they did have a little sugar and different flavors. I think they were 37 calories each, too. So they worked for me, but my husband said they made him even more hungry. Maybe it IS all in our heads but it did help me.

You said it!! We can be such a lazy bunch of folks when it comes to the weight issue! You are right about the fact that we CAN do it when we set our minds to it! If ANY of the diet pills worked just as their infomercials claim, there would be headlines in all the major papers, and their presidents would all be interviewed on mainstream news shows... but they are NOT.

There is NO secret formula that "Europeans have known for years, but has been kept from Americans until now!". The CC website is great, because we can educate ourselves, be accountable by honestly tracking our food choices and analyzing them, tracking our activity, and then seeing it all come together in that great WEIGHT CHART that pops up each time you are on your account page! (Not to mention looser pants, more comfortable dresses...)

There's nothing wrong with taking appropriate nutritional supplements, and that will vary by individual. But save your money and don't buy the quack junk. You will need that money AFTER you have lost weight the right way and trained yourself to healthy lifestyle habits... You will need new clothes!!!

Just thought I would comment, If you took the hoodia and were hungry then you were not getting in your gallon+ of water that day I’m fairly sure.  It does suppress the appetite and also your thirst so you need to drink water even though you are never thirsty, but I think you need to take it a few times a day for a few days to “get it in your system”. You cannot lose weight without water & a lot of it.  Your body can not metabolize your fat stores nor does it use your calories proper & is more likely to store it as more fat it cannot use.  Good luck exercise a lot & drink tons of h2o = weight loss

Also I have & do use hoodithin also have used hoodia patch
