Hot chick? Or goal pic?

I see a lot of CCers with hot chicks as their avatar, and so I wondered if that was really the CCer and if so, why the hell they were on this website, since they are clearly not in need of weight loss.  Or maybe they dropped 100 pounds and are now on maintenance...  My other thought was that maybe their avatar represents their goal. 

So my question is, are you a hot chick with your hot chick avatar?  If so, why are you on CC?  Or are you a not-hot-yet chick who uses a hot chick avatar?  If so, why?  (I'm not being judgmental--my avatar is a llama, for heaven's sake...)

I never really understood it myself. But I definately want to be a llama when I reach my goal weight, har har.

I think it's used somewhat as a motivation.

There are many people on CC who aren't trying to lose weight, but rather gain weight, too.

Or like you said they could be on maintenance. I'm sure many are goal pics as well.

I have a feeling this is directed at people like me...

I'm a hot-chick-to-be, and my avatar is some actress from Gossip Girl (which I can't stand, but I think she's smokin.)

Why did I choose her? Well, because if I woke up tomorrow and looked like that I would never wear clothes again. Also I've had it ingrained that pics of self on the internet= BAD, and I have two saved images. So it was her or a dead bunny on a stick my boyfriend sent me.

my avatar is megan fox. i WISH i looked like her. she is my "goal". however, she is 5'7" and about 114 lbs. according to what i've found about her body online. i am 5'5" and 125 lbs. now, and i'd like to be down to 110-115. i know i'll never look like her but i can dream!

i think i am an attractive person but i use her as my avatar to stay on track. i have other pictures of myself on my profile as well.
