I want to start off by saying that I totally don't buy in to fad diets. I do, however, think that there are foods that naturally boost metabolism and help fight fat, etc. I found a few articles about how Pu-erh tea is a natural fat fighter and looked into it a bit. http://www.bellybytes.com/food/puerh-tea.html
From what I can tell (ignoring the product marketing) it appears to have a lot of natural qualities that are great for the body, including a weight loss aid. Now, I'm certainly not claiming a "pu-erh diet" by any means, just bringing it up for any of those that might enjoy hot tea already. Anyway, just thought I would share. My husband was already drinking Pu-erh so I just took up the habit with him and try to get a cup a day, if not more. And hey, if it isnt helping my weight directly, its good for my body and helps me feel full so I'm snacking less.
Any other foods out there that naturally help metabolism/hunger/fat? I'm interested!
I have heard that geen tea was good for you and do like the taste - I tried quitting the coffee not long ago and have gone back to it - so I think I will try drinking more hot tea. I'm sure it is better than coffee! Thanks for the info.
