What hours do you work?

Quote  |  Reply

The thread about what everyone does for a living made me wonder what hours you work. So, what hours do you work at your job? Tongue out

I am also a little bummed because I have a scattered class schedule which will probably make it hard to find a job. T_T

right now I work from about 6:30-4:30 M-F with everyother friday off.  But only until tomorrow.  Then monday the new school semester starts.  I am finished with classes and will just be working on my thesis so I will get to pick my own hours...woohoo!  It'll probably be something like 9-6 and I will be able to work from home most of the time.  It's going to be fantastic.

That's great. Have fun with your thesis! :D

I work 7:30-5 with every other Monday off.

 8 - 5 Monday - Thursday.

I have every Friday off! WOOO

All summer, I've been working M-F 8-5, plus class from 6-7:30 T/Th

I have 2 weeks off, then it'll be...

M/W - 8 - 5:30
T/Th - 8:30 - 7:30
F - 8-5

Got to love school + work.

I work M-F,  8-5 (sometimes 5:30, sometimes 6, depends on the day and what has to get done).

I'm salary, so ... if they need me to finish something. I stay. Average about 45 hours a week or so

7-3 M-TH, love it!

M-F 8-4, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, 2 paid 15m breaks.  i usually skip the breaks, take 45 for lunch, and leave 15m early :)

the 8-4 is my choice, too; as long as i'm there for meetings, rounds, etc. i can start and finish earlier or later, if i want.  it's nice to be treated like a professional.

Typical and boring Mon-Fri, 9-5.

I work 11a-4p at a gravel pit. Perfect hours for a mom!

Glad I could inspire you, Reila! Tongue out LOL.

I work 8:30-5:00 M-F. In the near future, I will be going back to school, and I will have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6-10 P.M. I will definitely not have a life then! Frown

M-F 8-5 with an hour lunch break. I am an accountant and can just feel myself growing older sitting hear looking at numbers all day. I think I seriously need to get into consulting or something where things are more lively, lol!

I get in around 8 and leave between 5 and 6.  I get Saturdays and Sundays off.

m-f  6:45 to 3:30 or later :-)  at least 40 hours a week unless we are busy and then like #6 stay until i am no longer needed.

For the duration of my pregnancy, I'll continue to work 21:00 - 06:30.  Once I'm off maternity leave, I'm hoping to go back to 13:00 - 06:30.  I like doing the seventeen hour shifts.  That is if I don't get the full time third shift position I'm eyeing.

Being contingent, I pick my own schedule and can work any or a combination of the following hours:

04:00 - 08:00
05:00 - 13:30
13:00 - 21:30
21:00 - 06:30

There're various outpatient laboratory hours, too but I don't ever go to outpatient.  When combining shifts, I prefer 13:00 - 06:30 over 05:00 - 21:30.  For whatever reason, first and second shift are just too long, even though it's an hour shorter.

I make my own schedule, since I work freelance.

Depending on the projects on my desk, I put in anywhere between 6 -8 hours a day.  I usually do two stretches: 8-12, fit in my workouts, then 3-6 or 7.  It really depends, though, on whether I have something due, or if I am working on various high-priority deliverables at once.  During really busy times, I usually put in many more hours, and work until 10 pm.

I work at home :)

1-9p. Hate it.

I work for myself, which means on an as-needed basis.  I am always in the office from 8:30 to 5:30, but often I have to be in earlier and out later and I frequently work on the weekends too.  Working all the time sucks in some ways, but it's good to be building up a successful business.

I have been working full time on a graveyard shift- 2400 to 0800 for 3 years now. No breaks needed really since my clients are usually sleeping, lunch is included- 1/2 hr. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!
