I will be working as a housekeeper for a hotel. It is a very physical job. We have to clean rooms in about 20 minutes. We work fast so how should I calculate calories burned? I wouldn't bother if I only worked for 1 to 2 hours but some days are 8 hours, and that can be a lot of calories burned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that I would change my activity level to moderate or active, rather than trying to log it in each day.
I am a custodian and there is custodial work listed in the activity choices. Some of those things could be similar to what you are doing! It's hard work! We do the housekeeper stuff in the summer for camps. Good luck to you!!
