Hi everybody.
I am 5 5 and 116, It sounds that I am not overweight, but I have a very huge thigh that make me pear shape. It's 22" each one. I really don't know what to do. It's really bad shape in jeans skirt, ... I am size 2 in all over except my thigh. I do exercise and my diet is not that bad. But they are still there. Can you help me?
Sometimes you can't help how your body is composed. Exercise can't spot-reduce particular areas and, as you say, you're already very slim. So work with what you've got and make the most of it. Think 'Jennifer Lopez'... did a big bum ever hold her back? ![]()
I'd honestly suggest that you find clothing that flatters your body shape rather than trying to make your body fit into clothes that are never going to look right. A pear-shape looks sensational in styles that are nipped in at the waist but then flare out over the hips.... think 1950's style prom dress rather than pencil skirt. You'll look better in flat-fronted slacks than skinny-leg jeans.
There's an excellent book called 'The Body Shape Bible' by Trinny Woodhall and Susannah Constantine. Lists all kinds of body-shapes and what styles will suit and which won't.
same here. I'm a size 2 all over, and my thighs are just over, but not big enough to be a size 4. very frustrating. But its a case of just experiment with dress style.

I feel ya!! Big ol thighs and hips, in my case. Try yoga for toning exercies, swimming, or pilates. Also, genetics play a big part in dictateing how your muscles lay and develop during toning. So, you might do the same exercies that your bud does, for example, but her legs tone up a lot more than yours, or in different places. GRRRRR, I know!
I am the same and my legs are annoyingly out of proportion with the rest of me. I wouldn't say huge, but I'll never be that "leg" girl, that's for sure!
However I thought your title meant you were inviting us to hug your thighs, which I thought sounded fun and very friendly ![]()
hehe I never notice that I edited....![]()
Actually now 'huge thigh' makes it look like you're rather lopsided... one huge thigh and one skinny thigh... Now that would be distressing!
