Huh?? Lost 10 pounds in one month?

Quote  |  Reply

Not that I am not happy about this, but the whole time I have been doing this I haven't lost 10# in a month, now I get within sight of my goal weight and I lose 10# in a month???  Do you think I am doing something wrong?  If I keep this up I am afraid it may be unhealthy and too fast.  Any thoughts?

My stats:

5'6" cw:165 sw:211( august '08) gw:150 (for now)  on 6/1 I was 175 7/2 165!!!!  Last 2 months in a row I lost 5# per month

I've been very good at sticking to my calorie goals and I have been running or hitting the gym like 4-5 days a week.  And on 6/22 I started NROLFW....so it shouldn't be muscle I am losing, right??

I don't think that's too fast, it's only about 2.5 lbs per week which is only a little over the recommended amount of .5 to 2 lbs per week.  I've been dieting for 2 1/2 weeks so far and I've lost 17 lbs, granted I have a lot more weight to lose than you (74 lbs total, 57 lbs to go) and since I just started a lot of it was probably water, but anyway I'm pretty happy about my rapid results : )
