I also don't know anything about this song.  In fact, my first suspicion was that it wasn't a song at all, but a made-up Hawaiian song that dr thonx thought of on his way in to work this morning.

True.  Fun to think what sort of person could write something like that and not want to vomit.  It was probably some 70-year-old Hollywood veteran who was just happy to have a job.
