So I found the following website and thought it would be a fun challenge. I sent out a mass email at work and there are about ten of us who are gonna give it a shot. It looks like a pretty neat program and I'm interested to know if it actually works. If it does, you better believe I'm buying the t-shirt.
Also, anyone here heard of this or actually done it?
Anyway, let me know if anyone wants in and we can keep an updated post on here with progress. I need a challenge.... any takers?
I'm in. Can I recommend starting on Monday (as the challenge is recommended as a M-W-F thing), and ask participants to post their relevant starting information by Saturday or Sunday? Possible stats to post might include:
Age: 38
Sex: Male
Starting Rank: Rank 3
Pushup variation used (if any): Standard Pushup
Goal: 100 Good Form pushups by end of six week period
(Edit: Added my personal information now so I can start immediately if people want to start quickly. 2nd Edit: Corrected my initial rank to Rank 3.)
rts, i suggest that you PM one of the mods in fitness and ask them to move your original thread over here ;)

Man. the hardest part is perfect form.
Yup! perfect form is making me think maybe I should de-rank myself from rank 2. Day one was a piece of cake, today was hell...
i'm going to finish my coffee and have breakfast before tackling day 2, but i think that going down a rank to maintain perfect form is a good idea. if we're not in good form, we won't get the benefit to the core, and--let's face it--most of us want the abs, not the pecs. right?
Week 1, Day 2 complete.
I think I'm going to stick on Rank 2. I've got good form, it's just the amount that I'm having a problem with. I can make it to the end, but if my arms could scream, they would. ![]()
Obviously I'm a little late to start this program with you guys, as you started on Monday, but I'm glad you posted about this. Interesting doable program.
Just wanted to say thanks for the new workout. =)
Week 1, day 2 completed! :)
My 15 year old son is joining me in this challenge! :) He like to do the standard push ups and just a couple more than I do for Level 5 max. lol I am an inspiration! :D
