Ive began refeding last June, but.. let says it become real refeding on Dic. Since Dic. I was hungry every 2-3 hours, or dependin to what i ate in less time. But this has changed since April my hunger has reduced lots. In my appointment wiht the bnutrionist of April I didnt gain any way (I was in that time 48kgs). Then in my appointment of May I did gain, but the only problem is that I also grew 3 cms. So that meaned that according to my heaight i needed to weight more. So my new goal was not 51kg but 54kg.
My hunger has reduced so much that I have to forced myself to eat my moring snack at around 11! I had reduced a lot of my eating, my luches are some day just sandiwcihs. I try my best to reach at least 2 200 calories per day.. But just like from June to Dic is always imposible. I WANT TO GET HUNGRY AGAIN! I MISS BEIGN HINGRY! HELPP ME PLEASE..
PD: I think i may have lost 1-2kgs again.Im 14 years old, height 166cm and my current weight 51kg (or maybe 50-49kgs becuz the posible kgs i may have losT)
Perhaps you were more hungry initially because you were at a lower weight, and your body wanted to compensate from the restriction; now that you are approaching a healthier weight, your body might trust you more now that you have started to feed it therefore it may have stopped screaming out for food (through hunger)
I stopped feeling hunger once I reached a healthy weight - I crave specific nutrients such as protein or carbs when my body needs them, but I have definitely lost the sensation of being hungry since I reached my healthy weight.
I still enjoy food, however, I eat out of routine, my body is used to eating at least every 3 hours so I naturally feel like food as it maintains my concentration
Your hunger may return, you could just be going through a phase, or you may have to learn other ways to tell you are hungry like I have!
But should so, should I continue eating by routine until I reach my weight? or just when Im hungry?
Another question, my periods hasnt come back. How could i make it come back? What would helP?
Definately keep eating to reach your daily calorie goals, regardless of whether youre hungry or not. Maybe try eating more high-cal/low-bulk foods so that you don't really get full on the foods (and you'll be hungry), but your body is getting the energy and nutrients it so desperately needs.
As for your period, I got mine last month for the first time in a while (hoping to get it again soon!), even though I'm still underweight. I stopped exercise completely and became almost completely sediatary. Also, I increased my fats and added nutrition bars like Clif, Luna and Lara (Clifs my fave ;P). I took my suppliments and vitamins and drank a glass of 2% (or higher) each day. Just remember to not strain your body, eat your fats (and other food groups) and be patient :) It'll come, just try not to dwell on it :)
Good luck xxxx
