My hunger has a shut off button now! Hooray!
Forever, and ever, and ever I've been able to eat almost non stop. I could eat all day, and never really feel *full*. Well, for the FIRST TIME last night, I was full, and stopped eating. I put my leftovers in the fridge. It may have been something to do with the fact that it was 11:00 at night (I was on call, and out on a call and doing paperwork well past dinner). I was eating scrambled egg whites, green beans and some "better than bacon". I couldn't eat the eggs. I was even under my calories for the day. This makes me think my body is finally getting "fixed" from all of the over eating damage I'd done to it :)
I too seem to have no appetite control center in my body. I can eat and eat and eat. If I fill my plate, I will eat it all, regardless of amount. I clean my plate at every sitting. I would love to feel full!
I am so happy for you!
YAAAYYY!! I'm right there with you. For ... well ... forever, it's seemed like I've had no "off" switch when it comes to eating. Not just the things I love, but anything. I feared for the longest time that I'd always battle my weight because of that, but I'm finally starting to readjust and find that I'm developing an "off" switch when my body is sated - for the first time in my life! It's hard, so you definitely deserve a big ol' WOOHOOOO!
Do you have mine? I can't find it. Tee Hee...
God, do I know what you mean. My switch finally went off last year after surgery. I lost my taste for many things and developed cravings for fruits and salad. Amazing.
I'm journalizing my battles on my blog. You can find the address on my profile page.
I'll share mine... lol.
Now I just need to learn to SLOW DOWN when I eat... that's my next goal!
