Hungry Burps

When one of my little brothers was younger (like 5-10), he would burp all the time. Typical little boy. But sometimes he would burp and get this surprised look on his face, like he totally wasn't expecting the burp. Mom would scold him, and he would say in the cutest little voice, "I can't help it! It's my hungry burp!"

We had no idea what he was talking about. But now, as I sit starving at my desk at work, I have finally realized what he meant. My belly is bubbling because I'm so hungry, and the bubbles keep making their way up my esophagus and making me burp. I promise I'm not crazy. It even tickles a little bit! It is so silly.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Boy, I can't wait until my lunch break.

Never happened to me.

But my youngest daughter gets hiccups when she's hungry.  Even at 3.

This is funny actually... my college roommate burped all the time. Might I mention she is a female. But her burps would get extremely loud when she was hungry. We'd always laugh about it because they always startled me. We called them her "empty stomach burps". 

On another note, her burps were so loud that sometimes I'd almost want to say bless you or something... hahaha!

Haha yep, I know how that is. Both of my little brothers burp all the time! They should be ultimate burping champions.

Now hiccups, that is SO cute! Adorable. At least you know when she needs to eat!

I get hungry burps . Not loud or groups sounding usually, just little burps and I usually have to be pretty hungry.
