Has anyone gotten the new hungry girl book and have you found any receipes that you love?

Saw it in the store the other day. it's the 200 recipes under 200 right?

Talked myself out of spending $22 on it. Waiting to hear some reviews myself. My bf told me to search the Internet. It's cheaper.

Yeah I looked at her website and you can see all of the ideas and the calorie counts but you can't see the receipes. Some of them look absolutely amazing.

Just ordered a copy - will let you all know if its any good when it arrives!

They have it at Costco for $12.

I just got it, haven't tried anything yet though! Planning on trying one tomorrow night :)

I heard Wal-mart has it for $10, I am going to check it out this Friday, but that's what I seen on the Web.

Anybody want to share one 200 cal recipe?

Maybe it'll help some of us (ME) get through the weekend. (and no, it doesn't have to be a Hungry Girl one)

I went to Walmart to buy the book but after looking at the recipes, I seen that I really would only use a few of them, so I couldn't justify spending the almost $14 on it.  Instead I am going to request it through my local library for free and get the recipes I like and copy them.  But I have a back issue of Woman's World magazine where they have 4 of her recipes. 1 Lunch, 2 Dinner, 1 Snack, here they are in that order.  (she also includes weight watcher points for all her recipes)

Philly Cheesesteak Lettuce Cups  (Weight Watcher points – 4)

3 oz. lean beef steak

1/3 cup sliced mushrooms

1/4 cup thinly sliced onions

1 slice fat-free American cheese

2 leaves romaine, butter or green leaf lettuce

Ÿ       Slice steak into thin strips.

Ÿ       Coat medium pan with nonstick cooking spray.  Add mushrooms and onions; cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are slightly browned.  Set aside.

Ÿ       Remove pan from heat and re-coat with nonstick spray.  Cook steak strips over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Ÿ       Break cheese slice into small strips.  Place cheese on top of meat—still in the pan—and continue to cook until cheese melts.

Ÿ       Remove from heat; mix beef strips with veggies.  Serve in lettuce leaves.
