Not hungry because I'm too tired?
Well, since I sleep so much, I'm not as hungry. I feel nauseous really often and just the thought of food makes me sick. I haven't been able to make it 800 calories, let alone 1200 per day. Is it possible that sleeping too much is making me not as hungry and then I feel more tired since I haven't eaten? Should I just force myself to eat?
It's possible. I know when i was working the evening shift at a cafe during college, I would sleep most of my morning, eat around noon when I woke up and then was just full throttle through the rest of the day. Most of the time when I got home, I was too tired to eat anything so I'd just crash.
It's a vicious cycle. I think the best thing to do would be to get your body on a regular (as regular as possible) sleeping and eating schedule. Sometimes that helps.
I've been having kind of the same problem lately... with midterms and work, I just can't seem to cope (heh, it's 1h16am and I'm still studying...taking a little 10 minutes break...). I feel nauseous most of the time, get dizzy when exercising (though I stick with it through the end), and I have troubles eating more than 800 to 900 calories, though I drink at least three times more water than I used to before! And I used to eat 1400 cals easily...
So I try to eat a spoonful of peanut butter here and there...doesn't make me feel sick, I get calories, proteins, and a couple of nutrients. It can't be a long time solution, but it's going to be just as good as a more diverse regimen for a little while. ![]()
