I am not hungry at all this morning. I ate really bad and drank really bad since like last Thursday since my cousin came and visited and we just partied it up. This morning I feel nasty and bloated and am determined to get back to the way it was. So my question for you is that even though I am not hungry should I just eat anyway? Or since I had so many calories this weekend should I just skip it ?

The problem with skipping breakfast even though you don't feel hungry right now is that there's a greater chance that you'll feel ravenous later...and the cycle will continue. I'm speaking from experience. I tried that yesterday after a party on Saturday and I swear I just felt like I couldn't stop eating for the rest of the day! I say have some fruit, some yogurt, or something. You just don't want hunger to overwhelm you later is all I'm saying.
I'd eat it anyhow, but I'd stick with something easy on the stomach, like Cheerios. If your stomach's upset, you should probably avoid orange juice (the acid could make you feel worse) and milk (throwing up milk is awful). Drink a lot of water, and hang in there!
I don't recall a time I've ever been hungry in the morning. Not until about 1pm, actually.
And I've found that when I try to eat anything heavy or favorful I end up feeling sick to my stomach for nearly the rest of the day.
Even though I'm not hungry, I always have a cup of Cherrios and some skim milk. It's not a lot, but it keeps gets the metabolism going for the day and gives me a little energy to start the day.
If its mental, you should eat. If you are genuinely not hungry (sometimes big meals can tide you over well into the next day), then just have a bit of broccoli or something so your stomach won't be empty.
im never hungry in the mornings until i get to work. can't even think about actually 'chewing' something, im just not a morning person. & i hate having to speak to anyone in the mornings too. BUT i force myself to have some protein powder. Its not really ideal but its the only thing i've found that i can force myself to have. but then i walk to work for 45 minutes & my body wakes up & then im hungry about an hour or less after i get to work.
I wouldn't skip it entirely but if you're not hungry, you're not hungry. Have a protein bar or something, even if it's just toast.
I'd have a protein bar of a glass of milk at least.
In my experience breakfast is an acquired taste - initially I wasn't hungry in the morning at all, so I just ate a bit of cereal with skimmed milk and some coffee. I could't eat much fruit because it felt sort of like too much, all that chewing. Then I started eating some (home made from fresh fruit) smoothies (adding a few 3 or 5 counted hazelnuts and a teaspoon of flaxseed and some cinnamon) and that felt good. It's not that hard, you just wash and slice like 1 apple (good for making it smoothier, as an alternative to a banana) and some smaller fruit for taste (apricots, plums, etc) and add skimmed milk if you want or maybe some fruit juice (fresh or at least sugar-free) and nuts and seeds (fats but good fats and also very healthy) and cinnamon or whatever works for you and put it in a blender. The first day was strange but now I actually crave it, even in the morning. And I find that a good balanced breakfast really does give me energy for the day and sets the right tone for the rest of my eating.
There are a lot of times I am not hungry in the morning. When I am working I force myself to eat a small bowl of cereal. When I am home I eat brunch and it is healthy choices. For some reason the heat contributes to me not being hungry. In cold weather it is just the opposite. I eat a lot of soup and drink tea to compensate.
if you'll have a chance to eat later, as soon as you get hungry, then postponing it is ok, but if you don't get a lunch until 2 or later, you should hold yourself over until then.
I usually eat Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal, because it doesn't go through your digestive system as fast, and keeps you full until lunch time.
