to make sure everybody can hear her.
I strongly encouraged you to not try it from my own experience. It affected my sleeping habits -- not being able to sleep at night time. At times I find myself up until 4 am then having to wake up again at 6 am to go to work. My stomach was constantly hurting and it didn't even helped me lose weight.
I now understand that there is no such thing as a miracle drug. Even when you do take the pills, you still would have to follow a diet/exercise plan. To me, why sabotage my body with a pill or powder that I have no idea what the ingredients mean, when I could lose weight buy just watching what I eat and exercising.
Plus, most are not FDA approved so they can say whatever they really want to on their labels. Plus don't trust any of the biased survey that are advertised in their commercials. Of course they are not going to aired anyone who have not been successful.
My freind took hydroxycut in highschool and it worked great..... UNTIL SHE STOPPED TAKING IT (put in caps so you can hear how bad it is when you get off it). She gained the initial 20 pounds back PLUS 10 more, and she was eating healthy. It screws with your body, kinda like other drugs. She went through withdrawls and it took about 6 months to get her body back in check, after using the product for about 2 months! DO NOT DO IT!!! I know it sounds like an easy fix but you will be very unhappy once you stop taking it and all the weight piles back on.
Don't do it, unless of course you like wasting money and gaining back more weight then you're already trying to lose. Then by all means give it a whirl. There's no magic, there's no overnight solution, but if you want to do it a little at a time and the healthy way, well then you're in the right place aren't you?
A lot of those pills just contain oodles of caffeine. I think you could have an appetite supressant-type effect without the sketchiness of taking a pill by drinking some coffee or green tea every day (in moderation).
I tried hydroxycut. It did absolutely nothing for me.
A whole bottle and not one pound lost. Anyways it made me develop these big painful welt type things on my legs that only went away after I stopped taking them. I don't know what the hell is in those things, but they are seriously disgusting and terrible for you.
If you try that crap, be sure to bookmark THIS site, because if you want to be healthy and lose weight that stays gone, you'll be back!
Any product that promises to make you skinny and takes money out of your pocket is a scam, and probably unhealthy. If there were a true, quick-fix, wouldn't we ALL look like supermodels?
I started to try it. Did not make it through a whole bottle. I could not sleep well once started and I never felt very well while I was on it. It made me so jittery that I thought perhaps I just wasn't consuming enough calories so I would eat a little more just the get rid of that feeling.
Long story short, they made me feel like throwing up every day so I stopped taking them. I did not loose any weight on them in fact I think I may have gained some.
I do have a friend who took them for two months straight and they did absolutely nothing for her.
Like other posts say, those pills are not the solution. If they were there would be no obese or overweight people around. They just mess with your system and give you a sense of hope that maybe they will work. Instead you just waisted your money and your time. If you do notice on most of those adds they always tell you results not typical. This is because most of the people they have as examples were working out 2 to 3 hours a day and had a nutritionist helping with their meals. I had also watched a show once where they advised people that for some of those supposed miracle pills the before and after pictures were reversed. The before picture was actually the after picture. They had super in shape people put on weight to make it sell. It is so deceiving for everyone wanting to lose those pounds.
